I chose this university because it is the most reputable university in the U.K. outside of Oxford and Cambridge. I had also heard that students on the whole really enjoyed going here and that the quality of teaching was very high. The mathematics course here is one of the best in the U.K. and in the world and because of my Scottish nationality it was free for me to attend here. Finally, I had visited this small town before and loved it so was excited at the prospect of studying here.

    Course Curriculum :

The course syllabus is up to date with a range of areas including abstract analysis, fluid dynamics, group theory, history of mathematics, mathematical biology, statistical ecology and statistical inference. In terms of pure maths, there is a focus on group theory and analysis. In terms of applied maths, there is a focus on solar theory, dynamical systems, classical dynamics and fluid dynamics. Not much industrial exposure at all but if you do well in your exams then you can be offered a research internship at the university.

I got accepted for my dream course, St. Andrews offers a campus life, instead of city life, it is a stunning town with travel places around, very diverse, closer to home, a lot of extra curricular opportunities

    Course Curriculum :

It is intense, but if you are regular with your academics, get in touch with the professors to clear doubts, and take all the help you can get, you should be fine. Curriculum is not outdated and requires you to be aware of current affairs to be able to relate better

I took admission in this university because my elder sister also studied there. She gave me all the information related to the university and its admission procedure.I had not applied at any other university.I had applied at the university through the UCAS portal with a fee of around £50.

    Course Curriculum :

My course curriculum was designed in such a way that it had offered me both the theory and practice of computer science.I had learned how to program computers and how systems are organised, designed and implemented. In my final year I also undertaken a substantial software engineering project.Totally it was a very knowledgeable academic program.

I wanted to study in the UK. It was like a dream for me, but I successfully convinced my parents and they agreed. I applied to 3 universities and my application got selected in two of them. On the basis of reviews and rankings, I decided to opt for the University of St Andrews. I paid £20 at the UCAS for the application.

The University of St Andrews offers me a variety of scholarships and grants that are designed to help me to meet the cost of tuition. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic portfolio presented at the time of admission and I am the lucky one to avail of the opportunity. To apply, I submitted my application on an online portal, the cost for it was € 50.

    Course Curriculum :

The Masters in Computer Science offers me a strong background in the curriculum and also offers an opportunity to follow my interests in studying the subject at an advanced, research-led level. We are also provided with the flexibility to choose from a wide range of modules in advanced topics including artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, networks and distributed systems, and software engineering.
