I opted for this college because this was one of the first colleges that selected me. The bachelor's program was just what I was looking for. The University of York is well-reputed and has one of the best faculty. I completed my 12th from an arts background which was beneficial for pursuing this program. The online application form was submitted by me which was worth £20,

    Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum of University of York has a diverse and varied structure. There are 5 different modules in year 1 and year 2 which is narrowed down to 4 in year 3. Here at my college, English and Literature is unlike any other English degree. The curriculum have a unique approach to what literature is and does, how they read it, how they write about it and even how they make it.

I applied for the University of York as two of my high school friends were also going and according to our research on the college, a quarter of the students are international students who go admitted and received scholarships with not much effort. So, we applied via the UCAS for £18 and also gave them our high-school and English test scores after which we were selected.

    Course Curriculum :

My course was entirely designed to provide clear and ambitious learning outcomes. I had to complete over 120 credits per year in varied core modules like Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations Management, Probability and Statistics, Mathematics, Investment, Linear Optimization and Game Theory, Time Series, Decision Theory, Stochastic Processes, etc.

I chose to apply for the university of York as it is a leading global institution. The best proof of its academic excellence is that, it was ranked 133rd in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 150th in the QS World University Rankings. I completed my application via UCAS where the major requirements were my high school transcripts and English proficiency test scores. The application fee here was £18.

    Course Curriculum :

I had an obligation to complete 1200 hours of study per year and a total of 120 credits in the core modules of Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Evolution, Cell and Developmental Biology, Animal and Plant Biology and laboratory skills. In addition, I had to complete the academic integrity module which provided me aid to study independently and conduct individual research.

One of my old friends studying in this college suggested me to opt for this college. She gave me insights into the college about the infrastructure, placements, etc. I virtually explored the university and applied for admission by paying an application fee of £20.

    Course Curriculum :

As we progress in the course curriculum, we'll develop the knowledge and skills acquired in our first year, giving both depth and breadth to our learning, with an emphasis on mathematical skills and statistical analysis. We'll be able to choose optional modules to widen our knowledge or bring your specialism into focus.

It started by going on an open day while I was at sixth form and I was really drawn to the student life and the fact that it is a campus university. I applied to 4 university's and I applied to York for 2 different programs (psychology was my first choice). Going on open days made the admission process (which is completed through UCAS as I am in the UK) much easier as I was able to talk to multiple members of staff and be sure I was including the right information.

    Course Curriculum :

I love the course curriculum for being so varied. There are 5 different modules in year 1 and year 2 which is narrowed down to 4 in year 3 (which are chosen) Having compulsory modules in the first 2 years helps as you know you have made the right choices when it comes to 3rd year and you can still keep your options varied so the course remains thoroughly interesting.

I loved the atmosphere and general buzz of the uni, as well as it having a huge investment in the chemistry department with state of the art equipment and excellence for teaching and student support. The university as a whole has a great reputation for being a place that provides academically stimulating courses and tutoring that is internationally recognised as well as being an environment that is fun and that allows you to build yourself as a person through societies and sport as well as expanding your academic knowledge.

    Course Curriculum :

It's very interesting and thorough and covers all the important basics in a lot of depth as well as delving into other areas of more specialised interest. It's an academically stimulating and challenging course, but it?s well supported through workshops and tutorials and is a very rewarding course to be taking.
