My life at city, university of London

    9.2 /10

I did my bachelor's in Computer Science and then went to a Consulting agency in Hyderabad to get recommendations about the masters in Computer Science and they recommended it to colleges in the UK between them I chose this one as a found it to be the best suited for me. I was required to pay an application fee of £20 and apply through the online portal of the college.

    Course Curriculum :

Through this program, I developed a deep understanding of the subject I was taught about the algorithm as well as the programming languages. The curriculum mainly covers core foundational skills such as programming, progressing to cover a range of computing topics with a focus on professional application, while maintaining a strong theoretical underpinning.

    Exams :

Computers have always been my favorite subject and I did my bachelors in it and so to add weight to my degree, I decided to do Masters in it and therefore decided to this course I was required to give IELTS score 7.2 and then was selected for my program.

    Placement :

I have just taken admission so, I don't have much idea about the placement opportunities available in my college but my Consulting agency told me that almost 80% of the students from my college are placed every year.

    Events :

Various events are celebrated at my college. Some of them are physical events as well as virtual events and I love to take part in each of them.

    Fees :

Annually, my college fee was around £20000. Other expenditure which includes hostel, books and supplies sum up to £10,000. I don't have much idea about the scholarship so I didn't apply for it but some of my friends took an educational loan to complete their studies as they were unable to pay their fees.

    Faculty :

My teachers have the best intellectual and have won numerous awards, my small class size also helped a lot as it is the best thing because it keeps me focused and my teachers can pay attention to every one of us easily.

    Hostel :

I opted to live in an on-campus hostel as I was new to the country and didn't have much idea about the off-campus hostel present nearby my colleges, therefore, I decided to reside in the on-campus hostel. I was charged £10,000 as my hostel fee including the food and the facilities provided by the hostel was also very good.
