The placement are pretty good in branches like computer science , mechanical engineering and various branches of Chemical Technology. The placement in computer science can be as high as 1500000 lpa . The minimum package is usually 5.5 lpa. The main recruits are Yatra , Maruti , TVS , Exxon Mobil, TVS , Reliance , Adani Group etc. Various marketing company also visit and recruit students in large numbers .
The college helps in providing internships but it is mainly restricted to the chemical engineering stream . It would surely help you to get in touch with the companies but mostly you're on your own of you're not a chemical engineering student . Also , three academically best students from Plastic Technology are sent to Singapore surely on Internship. The stipend may vary from zero to about 40000 INR . The handsome stipend are provided by companies like Exxon Mobil.
HBTI has excellent record in placement where students get chance to appear in selection process. Companies come from all the sectors and conduct campus recruitment. Companies comes from IT sector as well Core Sectors like Chemical, Manufacturing etc.
Yes, college does provide internship and many top enterprises offer internship to students. Stipend varies from company to company. What matters is quality of learning and exposure which student get during the internship.
Placements is pretty good for a north Indian college almost aa high as vit and above some nits . However off campus placements go much higher almost 20 lakhs for B.tech CSE students. Still on campus placement is pretty good due to extensive alumni in high ranks of organisations.
Yes some companies do come for internship. The most famous one is Google though that may be off campus.
The placements of some branches are very good with an average of 6 lakhs with approximately 90% placements but some branches have very less placements as low as 10%. The core branches like Mechanical, computer sciences, chemical is good. The non core branches like paint, oil, food, also have good placement from the college with an average ranging from 800000 to 600000 rupees. Other branches do not have good placement.
There were not too many internships provided by our college. And by my knowledge it actually provides no internships.
Placements in the college is well companies like Payu, Yatra, Sapient, TCS, Samsung, Adobe, Amazon, MuSigma, Nucleus, etc comes to our college for our stream other mega companies like Exxon, Tata Motors,General Motors, Neslte, etc comes for other streams. Packages range from 3-15 lacs for CSE field and the people placed in it are above 80 percent so it's a good opportunity to be placed from a college like HBTI.
The companies like Exxon Mobil ,TCS , Yatra , Samsung and startups comes to our college for rendering us with the internships and for the core branches its mandatory to do an internship which the college provides to the student the general stipend depends on the location but an amount ample for the interns is provided and we get to to learn a lot from the corporate world.
The placements at HBTI were good if compared to other engineering colleges (exclude IIT/ NIT). Most of the companies took students based on their talent (irrespective of grades/ branch) and came to campus with the general perception that the college has great brand value and quality students.
There were hardly any internship opportunities in college at our time. Only Exxon mobile came for internship for some marketing role. Apart from that since internship was not part of the engineering curriculum, the students had to find them on their own without any help from the college which focused on summer training and final placements.
Here the campus placement is good . About 70℅ and above placement occurs here but still HBTI doesn't get the placement as per it's name.So still average placement is low I.e. about 3-4 lakh per annum for Mechanical Engineering. And the highest placement in mechanical is also very less like UpTo 7 lakhs only. So the campus placement matters a lot and it is not UpTo the mark here
I do not know much about it but I have heard it that yes . Many of our seniors have got internships in various fields and companies. Like one of my senior whom I know got an internship for 45 days in a chemical company in Thailand.
Placements and job opportunities are very good here in this college. About more than 90% in CSE branch were placed last year(2016 batch). Avg Package were around 4-5 lac.
Yes, a few companies come for Internship recruitment. In CSE, only TCS came for internship recruitment.
The placement differs from department to department. The placements of computer science department, mechanical engineering department, chemical engineering department, and paint technology are top notch. Also consultancies like Mu-Sigma and EXL come to campus for recruitment. Core companies like tata motors, hyundai, maruti, etc. are some of the major recruiters Placements of students of branches like civil engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, leather technology, etc. are a bit low as far as core companies are concerned. Official figures of placements of 2016 batch have not been disclosed by the college yet except for the highest package that was 23 Lakhs bagged by ...
The college does not provide any internship students have to work for themselves and write to professors or companies if they want to score an internship.
Placement is fine as of the civil branch, lack of private sector.
