Harcourt Butler Technical University offers 21 specializations across three courses: B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA. Apart from this, it also offers a PhD course.

For admission to B.Tech, the candidate should have completed 10+2 in the Science stream with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take the JEE Main or UPSEE.

For admission to M.Tech, the candidate requires a B.Tech degree in the relevant field. For selection, they have to take the GATE.

Fill out the UPSEE 2020 application form.
Upload scanned images of signature, colour photograph and left thumb impression
The university will also provide the correction facility in the application form
There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form to the university.

How to apply for NIMCET?

Candidates eligible for MCA will have to take the NIMCET for selection. The process for registering is given below:

Candidates have to register on the NIMCET 2020 website by creating the login, password as instructed therein.
Fill all the details on the online form.
The last date for submitting the form is March 31 2020.
Candidates will have to pay a fee of 2,500 INR online.
All the relevant documents should be uploaded along with the online application form.
Remember the login name, email ID, password and security question till the end of the NIMCET process.

HBTU Ph.D. Admission 2021

The Institute offers a Ph.D. program in 4 specialization areas. These courses are offered under the category of Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) which is supervised by Principal or QIP coordinator to be nominated by Govt. Of India, every year.

Interested candidates must qualify the entrance examination for the Ph.D. programs conducted in the months of October and November every year.

Ans. HBTU has been ranked 25th for engineering by India Today 2019 ranking. The faculties of CSE at HBTU are highly experienced. The institute provides the highest placement for the CSE branch of 100% every year. NIT Manipur ranks 148th in the engineering category by NIRF 2019 ranking and produces quality developers in the software domain. The institute provides a tremendous placement record of 100% placements for the CSE branch. IIIT Bhopal is an autonomous university under MANIT and ranks 65th under NIRF Ranking 2019. The institute provides plenty of opportunities in the CSE domain and provides 80% placements every year. IIIT Lucknow ranks 75th among the IIITs of India as per NIRF ranking 2019. Ans. IIEST scores more than HBTU Kanpur according to the parameters mentioned below. Both colleges have a rich endowment. But, IIEST stands separately for spreading the entire IIT structure in India. IIEST has a more vibrant and strong Alumni base, but few institutes of India also rival it. Placement: IIEST Shibpur invited 90 reputed companies in the year 2020. 311 students got placed with the highest salary package of INR 41 LPA and an average package of 6 LPA. HBTU Kanpur invited 26 major companies including Microsoft, Reliance, Samsung, IBM, etc that offered the highest salary package of 13 LPA and an average package of 4.2 LPA.
