This college can either be your best experience or worst. Choice is yours.
College is good one of the good colleges in Delhi , its a very old college approximately 70 years old.
Nothing is bad in our college except one since it is a govt college. Teachers doesnt care much about the resluts & placements, so you have to push yourself out of the comfort zone & do everything.
I enjoyed my college days especially coz its almost in the heart of the city, its economic fee structure, its good reputation, good placement opportunities.Insufficient infrastructure was a major drawback of this college.
Management of college is really poor. It is an overall good experience of 4 years in the college . Branches like CSE and MECH are really good .
Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) was established in 1998. It is the first engineering college for women only. From 2002- 2013, the college remained the first and only constituent college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The upgradation of IGIT, already a prestigious college of north India, to University has enabled it to function even more efficiently as a teaching and research centre in various branches of engineering.
