The companies like TATA Steel, HPCL, VSP, Coal India and various other PSU's very heartily provides internships. Various law firms also provide internships. Stipend varies from 5k to 10k.
The alumni network is not that big as the university is only in its 7th year of existence. But the alumni are really helpful. Seniors are always keen to help in all facet of university life.
The faculty is highly experienced and the university also provides for guest lectures from eminent jurists and experts in the field of law and administration.
The university has really good and experienced faculty but it lacks only on infrastructure as there is no campus.
Fees structure- 1,58,800 pa with 10% increment in tution fees. It does not include all the expenses.Lodging and food has to be separately taken care of by the students themselves. But private hostel are there around the university which costs around 5k per month.
The schedule for exam, project submission, Viva, etc is very hectic.Normal day in University is very busy and eventful.
I have not availed for any loan and don't have any knowledge for the same. My colleagues have applied and have availed the loan facility.
Placements and job opportunities Almost all the students who sat for placements got placed in various law firms and PSU's as legal advisor.
I took Common Law Admission Test(CLAT,2013) and scored 93.5/200. I opted for this college because it is a national law university which provides great opportunities and imparts quality legal education.
The university does not provide for hostel and mess facilities. The students mostly live in private hostels and flats.
The university organise National Moot court competitions every year.Events like annual days and sports fest and participation is mostly from all other National Law universities.
The gender ratio is very balanced. Around 1:2. The students mostly live in private residential flats and very often party. The students and faculty are from all parts of the country. The people around are very helpful, joyous and career orientated. The experience of being an NLU' ite is awesome.
