The English and Foreign Languages University, the first language institute in the country was established to improve the standards of teaching English in the country. The Institute was the brainchild of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The institute was first set up in the year 1958 in Hyderabad with the name Central Institute of English and gave training to the teachers of English. The Institute houses approximately 25 buildings on 32 acres of land. Later, in the year 1972, April, the institute decided to enlarge its scope and include other foreign languages as its course. CIEFL becomes English and Foreign Languages University in 2007.

I was attracted by the course structure followed in MA English, that is, cafeteria system. Wherein we can choose our own papers from a pool of more than 50 courses. We can make our own timetables. The courses that were offered were amazing and intriguing, from TV series to Tribal literature, Eflu has wide array of things to offer. Second, the teachers here are some very renowned academicians of their fields and widely known in international sphere. It was a privilege I got a chance to learn from them. Also, a very active placement cell is in place.
No Not at all remark in that three year so very happy that in Every college at all the positive that college if any marks in tha all the studies in that remark to the college so if any reason that all that marks.
EFLU is not a professional college or institute like engineering colleges or MBA colleges. It basically offers courses and awards degrees. However, MNCs do approach it for candidates with proficiency in foreign languages ie BAs in Arabic / French / German / Spanish / Korean / Chinese etc. Some agencies also ask for PGs and Research students in English to be groomed as Corporate Trainers. BEd graduates also are in hot pursuit. Since governments in different states recruit thourough their Selection Process, students pefer govt jobs. They pay more. There is a Placement Cell at EFLU. But the university like private institutes does not take the onus of finding a job for every outgoing student. It...
It's a very good campus when it comes to education and all. But it's very small in size that's the only con about it. And coming to sports only badminton courts are in good condition. There's not much you can play in the small ground in the campus.
It's pretty much very cheap. You only have to pay around 5000 a year. If you are not a resident of Hyderabad you are allowed to take hostel in the campus which again doesn't cost much. It's around 5000 per year again.
In my compus i didn't find any placements related to MCL because it is new course in this university. May be they invite the companies in next year.
On campus placements are available only for those who complete their professional courses like B.ed, M.ed and PGDTE but for other courses there are ample of opportunities in off campus placements.
Overall my experience over there had been very excellent.
See there is a very active placement cell overthere. It was Good none of us was jobless at the day of convocation. Being a fresh Japanese language graduate we manage to get 3.5L,7.5L yearly package.
