I had chosen this course because I did my bachelorette degree in Zoology and the university provides a very good environment for Zoologists. There are 9 teachers in the department and 43 students in our class which gives a rough faculty: student ratio of 1:5 which is quite good. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders and are NET/GATE qualified. we have 2 class tests and a final semester exam for each semester. The level of the questions are mixed type. it is designed in such a way that every student can pass the exam at once.
Each new batch around 1 lakh more for the entire course of 3yrs included. Can get job as faculty in the college or can get campus placement offers from all the top hotels/cruise/restaurants. No scholarship opportunity.
Chose this because I liked the hospitality industry/ service industry. 80% are boys and 20% girls. Faculty mostly were good and fit for their job. Tests used to be there and then exams every year. To pass is averagely easy.
Because I love the subject and wanted to learn more. The faculty student ratio is good. Faculties are highly qualified. Their teaching method is also good. Internal tests are held at regular intervals and exams are held at the end of the semester.
My course syllsnus was well updated. We were provided enough industrual exposure such as field trip. The faculties were very friendly and they are care like family in every aspect. PARAK BORAH, PRIYANKA KALITA, NABANITA DAS.
Well, I feel like we were not very updated with the course syllabus. The teachers did not emphasised on some of the most important subjects in Mechanical Engineering like Metrology, Engineering Materials, CAD/CAM, Industrial Engineering, Hydraulics Machinery, etc. There were no industrial exposures provided by our university during the 4 years of B. Tech course.
My B. Tech fee structure is: 58000 tuition fees and admission fee as 10000/- and caution deposit as 10000/- and an annual fees of 15000/- to be given four times in the course of 4 years. They accept online payment, Demand draft, multicity cheque (for the students living in Guwahati only). Yes, one can avail discount by paying in one time of Rs. 4, 60, 000/- or by paying two installments of Rs. 2, 45, 000/- each.
As per the learning is concerned, it follows strict guidance under AICTE. Any changes in the AICTE curriculum will lead to change in our college too. And talking about knowledge, they try to shower as far as they can, its also about the students how they grab each and every opportunity provided to them. Yes, students are taken for industrial visits and also relative seminars are also held by various resource person. Our college also organizes an Internship programme for the interested students in lieu of various burning courses that helps in industrial level.
I would say The fee structure is feasible with all the facilities apart from the educational curriculum That was available for us, everything is listed in detail format and very easy to understand about the fees.
The course was indeed very informative, interesting as well as a bit tough. The exam structure during our batch was s trimester system, we had three exams in a year, but now the system had been changed to a semester system
The Fee structure as compared to other private university for the course of engineering it is quite reasonable. The Semester Fee are ?75000/- and ?55000/- for odd and even semester respectively. the one time admission fee is ?20000/- If a student is willing to stay in hostel the Fees varies as 25000/- 27000/- and 32000/- for triple, double and single occupants respectively. There are no extra hidden fees of such. Which is usually the case in other private colleges.
The Syllabus the college follows is the same as that of IITs but of course the toughness of the examination and the evaluation level is much more lenient. from second year each student have their own project which will be guided by a faculty which is a good plus point to be considered as all the practical’s skills need to be implemented to excute the projects
The fee structure of btech is expensive the average fee per semister is 65,000 . The fist 3 sem is 75,000 the after that it reduces to 59,000 for the 4th and again ot goes up to 75,000 in 5th sem and 6th ,8th sem is 59,000 and the 7th sem is 75,000 .
The course curriculum focuses mainly on practical, from the 1st sem itself you get the taste of practical. And the exam structure consist of two class test and a sem exam at the last of every sem . The two class test carry 20% and assignment and attendence and behaviour consist 20% and the semister exam consist 60%
I would say that it is quite affordable as compared to another institutes. Per semester one needs to pay 50k . 4 years costs around 5-6 lac.
I think this is the best course and indeed a great importance is given to this course. 100% focus is done on practical learning. The elective options for CSE that are available in ADBU are: e-commerce & data security, personal & mobile communications, image processing & pattern recognition, android app development fundamentals, distributive computing, network security & cryptography, concepts of advanced operating systems
