Gauhati University accepts admission for MA in English course. Since you have not mentioned your graduation course, I will mention the two ways by which you can apply for admission.
The selection criteria for the course is on the basis of merit marks in the previous qualifying examination, i.e. BA and B.Sc. marks. Further the Gauhati University administers an entrance exam which you would need to appear. A merit rank is generated on the basis of your marks in the exam.
