During my graduation I paid 1, 30, 000 annually which was feasible to pay for me with my family income being 4lakhs per annum. My college accepts fee through online method and also through offline method as demand draft. No additional charges had to be paid and there is complete transparency in fee breakdown.
Course curriculum is excellent and examination structure was perfect and mostly research driven. One of the difficult examination a graduate would encounter. Industry specific knowledge was low but there were some industrial visits during my graduation.
My fee is around 1.25 lakhs per semester bringing it to a total of about 10 lakhs. They accept demand drafts and Online NEFT Transfers. Yes college gives a complete breakdown of the fee. No, I didn't have to give any additional hidden charges for my admission as it was strictly based on rank and merit list.
Our curriculum is still mostly oriented towards covering basic concepts of all CS areas and we have pen-paper based subjective exams. It sure seems relevant though should be updated more often and yes for most part it's fair as they use a relative marking approach.
Fee structure of IIT Patna is : Rs. 1. 2 lakhs per semester in which one lakh is tution fee and 20 thousand is hostel fee. Concessions are given on tution fees for economically backward sections which is 67% for person having income less than 5 LPA but greater than 1 LPA. Bank loans with interest waived is provided.
Course curriculum is same as Older IITs. In first year students of all branches have to study common paper mostly basic science like physics, chemistry and maths. After first year you get to study as per your branch. In each semester we have one mid-semester exam and one end semester exam. Industrial visits are organised. The curriculum is outdated and helps little in on campus placements. But seniors guide us well.
IITs fee was hiked in 2016. IIT Tuition fee is 100000 every semester previously it was 45000 per semester. Apart from this, mess fee, Hostel fee and other small charges also collect. So, total fee is 120000 per semester approx. Total fee of one year is around 240000 INR. This fee is very expensive but fee is reduced for students whose parental income is low. So it becomes feasible.
Course curriculum was pretty awesome. But some common courses which are taught in other IITs were missing in my curriculum. One such course was Compiler design. Also, I got exposer of some new and trending fields of computer science such as Big Data Computing and BlockChain. Overall, course curriculum had a great balance between new and old fields of Computer Science.
Expensive for middle class family. Fees structure is divided into per semester fees. Fees for each semester is approx one lakh forty thousand. Expenses for living includes hostel and mess charges which is approx twenty thousand
Curriculum provide thorough knowledge of subject. Being it as theory subject or practical. Also professors give challenging tasks that give deep dive knowledge of subject. Quizzes and semester examination are somewhat hectic but labs are chill.
Fee structure is little bit expensive for a lower middle class family. Most of the fee is the tution fee and rest for the hostel fee and mess feee are comparatively less the other private. There are many scholarship options available for the below poverty line persons.
Here the course structure is very well defined and well managed. Lab activities for undergraduate student are frequent for different types of laboratories for post graduate students research work is always available here.
30,000 approx per semester including fooding and lodging. For hostel mess you have to rs70 for basic food if you wanted to eat something extra then you have to pay according to bill. Food are not so costly.
PhD is higer degree and needed for to be a professor. We have to do 5 courses from elective including English literature. After that we have labs for research and computational work. We are free to choose our course paper so it reduces our complications for unwanted subjects.
It is an Government college so Fee structure is not that costly. In fact it is one of the cheapest.I pay around 2 lakh yearly which add to 8 lakh for 4 year.It also varies for the Category of student like General, OBC, SC/ST.General category have to pay a full amount so they have to pay upto 10 lakh for 4 years, I am a OBC so I get a little Rrservation in fees.SC/ST and those whose family earn less than 5 lakh get their most of the tuition fee off and have to pay only for Hostels, Food, Research Programs and Lab fee.Minimum amount it can get to is 4-5 lakh which is quite feasible in compare to other colleges.
The course curriculum is neatly designed to make sure that students learn all the important thing without lot of pressure. Most of the students here like it.The research part is also great here but I guess it can be improved a bit more.I always feel the frequency is low but we have to work a lot in lab in a single shift.About the exam structure, I find it a little tough to cope with a little busy schedule of tests and exam but it is something which can be managed with a little hard work and practice. There are weekly tests and some surprise tests in between class.Exam happens every 6 month.
Feasible.Easy on packet if you belong to EWS, SC or ST. if you belong to general non ews, then fees is equivalent to most privatr engineering colleges. But once being in IIT, fees is never an issue as there are merit based scholarship provided by government.
Course structure is bit on lenient side, giving you so much time for extra curricular activities. You can join any club to pursue your passion for anything, be it dance, sports, robotics, cars. Labs are held 3-4 days in week, each course lab once a week, saturday and sunday are free. So overall a chilled schedule.
Fee structure has been segregated to various quotas and categories. Normally the fees have been divided in categories according to income levels, but flaws do exist in this system, so it can be expensive to general category students but is feasible for others
Overall, the course curriculum is well designed, my only suggestion is to shift some courses from 7 th semester to 8 th semester. Exam structure- exams are taken on semester basis. Each semester there will be a Mid semester examination and a End semester examination, and in between there may be quizzes and presentations according to the preference of the course instructor.
