The institute offers 8 Undergraduate B. Tech. Programs and 14 Postgraduate M. Tech. Programs in various disciplines of engineering and technology. After becoming University, it also started a Ph.D. program in various disciplines of engineering, science, management, humanities, and social sciences. The duration of B.Tech is 4 years, M.Tech 2 years and Ph.D. consists of 3 years of duration.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level online exam conducted for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. Library: Central Library has a collection of 1,19,830 volumes comprising of books, standards, theses, bound volume of journals pertaining to physical sciences, engineering, and technology, computer and information technology, social sciences and management.
Hostels: University has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 6 hostels out of which 4 hostels are for boys and 2 for girls.
Festival: PEC fest- It is an annual cultural fest, usually held in November.
