GGU Bilaspur UG Courses:

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU) offers various UG level courses in various trades of B.Sc, B.Com, B.A., B.Ed., B.Pharm, BA(H) in Journalism & Mass Communication, B.Lib.& Info.Sc and BSW (Social Work) courses in different specializations. Admission is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in the VET conducted by the university followed by counseling sessions by CSAB. The University also offers integrated 5-Year long BA-LLB and B.Com-LLB programs along with Diploma in a foreign language and D.Pharm courses. Admission to these courses is also based on the score in VET whereas 50% marks as an aggregate are also required in the needful subjects depending upon the stream chosen.

GGU Bilaspur PG Courses:

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU) also offers MA, M.Sc, M.Ed, MA in Journalism & Mass Communication, M.Lib.& Info.Sc & MSW. A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria. Individuals seeking admission to these courses shall have to appear in VET.

GGU Bilaspur Ph.D. Admission 2020:

Along with UG and PG courses, the university also offers Doctoral programs in various specializations such as English, Lib. & Info. Sci, Journalism & Mass Communication, History, Social Work, Education Commerce, Computer Science & Information Technology, Zoology & many more.
In order to seek admission in Ph.D., candidates have to pass a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. GGU conducts VRET (Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test) to provide admission to the Ph.D. program. CSIR NET/ UGC NET or GATE qualified candidates are eligible to apply.

Hi Ankita, yes, you are eligible for both of the mentioned courses provided you have scored at least 55% (50% in case of reserved candidates) in your graduation. However, admission will be approved only on the basis of marks in VET followed by counselling process.

Hi Mohammed Arif Khan, To get admission in B.Ed, you need to satisfy the Eligibility Criteria of this course which is listed below:

Candidate must be Passed from any recognized University/Institution with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s degree in science/social science/humanity/Bachelor in Engg or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto. No upper age limit.
