The course is set to ready us for industry and college is committed to it and we have a good ratio of student and teacher. Teachers are well qualified and all of them have phd degree in their respective fields. Their teaching method is good they focus on easy learning and they also add technology to understand the concept in a better way. Exam happens with an interval of 2 months for NIT scheme there is 2 class test and one final test at end of the semester and for CBCS scheme we have 1 mid term exam and one end semester exam. It is a good exam not very hard but it is logical and fill with reasoning.
I was interested in metallurgy so I choose that stream. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. faculties are well qualified and experienced. The exam is neither very hard nor very easy. Pass. There are two class tests and one end sem exam every semester.
Department of mining is one of the oldest department in the college and placements were good at that time There were a total of 12 faculties with good industrial exposure in the department with 10 supporting staff Faculties are very supportive in every accepts
the course curriculum is fine. the students are availed of learning the subjects totally.the students are always pushed towards excellence and also their academics are improved. the faculty is really good and efficient.
the curriculum is very nice and for new admission, the curriculum is CBSE, in which the marking is progressive
Those all are good because they have excellent academics plan and good experience of faculty. The faculty members are best experience how student understand a concept and so many. My best faculty i didn't want to share but they have good and poilte manner every time enecourage to us.
Exam structure will be application oriented and it will be somewhat hard. In Nit Raipur you will have two exams for every semester (mid-sem and end-sem)End -sem will be the toughest than mid-sem and you will have lab practical for two exams. All will be application oriented and will be like improving your subject knowledge. You will see teachers explaining every topic and they tell you in a way that you will come to know where to apply it. It will be research oriented and you will definitely improve your knowledge for every class you listen.
Fee structure is feasible. Scholarships will be given to the reserved category students and also bank will provide education loans. Mode of fee payment is online or through challan. Online fee payment is beneficial for the students to save their time.
Masters in Computer Applications is a professional course for pursuing Post graduation. Course curriculum is somehow similar to Computer science engineering but of three year course. In this course we get the in depth exposure of latest technology in the IT field. It develops the overall performance of the students. Many multi national companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc will allow students bto take part in the campus placement and hired also.
There is complete transparency in fee- breakdown. And fee structure is different for GEN, OBC, ST/SC, Female and is available at institute website. Many students also take the various scholarship benefits. Seperate fee for hostel is applicable. Payment is accepted in the beginning of each semester through online mode only.
Exam: 2 cts and one final exam per semester. All exams, question papers and evaluation is done by the faculty within the institute. And students are allowed to check their response and marks before final results (so no reevaluation). Research: Students are motivated and facilitated for research projects, but depends on student's caliber and interest. Industrial visit: Planned by faculties according to student interest. Industrial training is part of curriculum. Placement: Not Excellent but Good. Good companies visits the campus, mostly in IT sector but they allow core branches to apply too. High caliber students also manage to score high package off campus jobs.
The course curriculum is not up to date. It is outdated and the faculties only appreciate you if you score well. Academics is not worthy of a central college. Syllabus is really lengthy and it even has subjects that we don't find any relation to in our branch.
