AIIMS Admission 2021: Application deadline for B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing /Biotechnology and other courses, is April 6, 2021. Interested candidates can apply at aiimsexam.ac.in.

INI CET 2021 Registration for July session has started. Interested candidates can apply till March 31, 2021. 

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi offers 146 specializations across 15 courses. The courses are MBBS, MD/MS, MDS, DM/M.Ch [six years], DM/M.Ch, MD (Hospital Administration), Fellowship, PhD, B.Sc, B.Sc (Honours), B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic), and M.Sc. The application fee is 1,500 INR. The application mode is online. Basic registration for MBBS, MD/ MS, and DM/ M.Ch [six years] and MDS typically starts from late November onwards. For DM/M.Ch, registrations start from February.

For MBBS, candidates have to take the NEET UG, from this year onwards, for selection. Earlier, the selection test was AIIMS MBBS. MD, MS, and MDS candidates, as well as DM/M.Ch [six years] candidates, have to take the AIIMS PG for selection. For the other courses, candidates have to take entrance examinations given by AIIMS Delhi. For B.Sc courses, candidates have to take an entrance examination conducted by AIIMS.

AIIMS Delhi is an autonomous government university that was established in 1956. Approved by the MCI and the UGC, it is the leading medical institutions in the country. It has been ranked as the best institute by NIRF and Outlook India in its list of medical colleges.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Admission 2021

Under its undergraduate programme, AIIMS Delhi offers the MBBS course. The course has a duration of four years and a half. In addition, the candidate has to work as an intern for a year.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate has to complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology, and English.
  • The candidate should have scored 60% marks.
  • The candidate should be at least 17 years old.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS Selection criteria:

  • The candidate should have taken the NEET UG.
  • Candidates who qualify the NEET UG have to go for NEET counselling:
    • Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.
    • Click on New Registration.
    • Enter the required details. A new roll number and password will be generated. Use these credentials to register for NEET counselling.
    • Log on to the Medical Counselling Committee website and click on Candidate Login.
    • Enter your roll number and password.
    • You will be directed to a new page where you have to enter personal details.
    • After successful registration, you will have to pay the counselling fee online.The total counselling fee is 6,000 INR for central universities.
    •  You will then have to submit your preferences by filling in your choices, based on your scores. Admission is given on the basis of merit.
    • Once you are done, enter your password and lock choices. You cannot make any changes after locking your choices.
    • Keep a printout of the locked choices for future reference.
    • After each round of counselling, the MCC releases seat allotment results.
    • Candidates have to report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.
    • 15% of the seats are All-India Quota seats.
    • Seats left vacant after two rounds of counselling will be adjusted in the mop-up round.
    • The following documents are required at the time of reporting:
      • NEET admit card
      • NEET 2021 result/rank letter
      • Class 10 and 12 pass certificates and marksheets
      • Eight passport size photographs, the same as the one on the application form
      • NEET seat allotment letter
      • Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport or driving licence)
      • Category certificate, if applicable

How to apply for NEET UG?

To apply for NEET UG, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website
  • On the home page, click on ‘New Registration’
  • A new page will appear on the display screen
  • Read the instructions carefully and proceed
  • Fill in all the required information before submitting
  • Once the registration ID is created, go back to the candidate login section
  • Use your credentials to login
  • The application form will appear on the display screen
  • Fill in all the required information and upload the supporting documents
  • Pay the application fee online. The fee is 1,500 INR.
  • Download the application form and keep a printout for future reference
  • The following documents will be required:
    • Scanned copy of a colour photograph
    • Scanned copy of a postcard size picture
    • Scanned copy of signature
    • Impression of the left thumb
    • Pass certificates and marksheets of classes 10 and 12

The following documents will be required at the time of admission:

Examination pattern: 

The examination pattern for the B.Sc programmes is as follows:

B.Sc (Honours) Nursing:

  • The examination is to be taken in English.
  • The paper is two hours long.
  • The questions are all MCQs.
  • The mark-distribution is 30 for Physics, 30 for Chemistry, 30 for Biology and 10 for General Knowledge.

Bachelor of Optometry and B.Sc (Honours) MTR:

  • The duration of the test is an hour and a half.
  • The questions are objective-type.
  • There will be sections for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The candidate has to attempt the first two and any one of Biology and Mathematics. All the sections will carry 30 marks.

B.Sc (Post-Basic) Nursing:

  • The admission to this course is based on two rounds of assessment: written examination and personal interview.
  • The written examination will consist of a paper of 70 MCQs. The candidate must finish the paper in an hour and a half. Questions will cover the following topics:

    • Medical Surgical Nursing including Anatomy
    • Physiology and Pharmacology
    • Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery
    • Paediatric Nursing

Under its postgraduate programme, AIIMS Delhi offers the MD and MS courses. The courses are three years long.

Eligibility and Selection criteria:

  • The candidate should have an MBBS degree.
  • The candidate should have scored 55% marks.
  • The candidate should have completed one year’s internship.
  • The MBBS degree should be recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  • The candidate should have taken the AIIMS PG.
  • If the candidate qualifies the AIIMS PG, they have to go for counselling.
    • To register, login to the MyPage portal.
    • Enter your AIIMS PG login credentials.
    • Click on Online Counselling.
    • Register again for AIIMS PG counselling portal using a new password.
    • The link will be active only for a given period of time
    • You will then have to exercise choice-locking.
    • Login again to Online Counselling using the new credentials.
    • Click on Make Choices.
    • Click on Add Choice and choose your AIIMS institutes.
    • Submit and lock them.
    • In case you are not able to submit and lock the choices, the last saved choices will be selected automatically.
    • After all the steps, candidates will be able to view their final choices submitted and locked by them.
    • Click on View Choices in the online counselling portal to view your choices.
    • Keep a printout of it for future reference.

How to apply for AIIMS PG?

Candidates have to take the AIIMS PG for admission to the postgraduate courses of AIIMS Delhi. To apply, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of AIIMS (www.aiimsexams.org)
  • Register on the official website
  • Click on New Registrations
  • Select your course
  • The registration form will appear on your computer screen
  • Enter your name and other personal details along with your valid email ID and mobile number
  • You will receive a login ID and password after registering successfully
  • Login using these credentials
  • Fill out the form
  • Select an examination centre
  • A fee of 1,500 INR will be charged for general candidates. It is to be paid online.
  • OPH candidates need not pay the application fee
  • Upload scanned images of signature, photograph and left thumb impression in the JPEG format. The images should be between 10 KB and 100 KB in size
  • Keep a printout of the registration slip for future use

AIIMS Delhi DM/M.Ch Admission 2021

AIIMS Delhi offers the DM and M.Ch courses under its superspeciality programme. The duration of the courses is three years.

Eligibility criteria MD or MS degree in the relevant specialization
Selection criteria Written test through CBT mode

Eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate should not be older than 35 years, as of 1 July 2021.
  • This age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC or ST candidates, as well as candidates who are ex-servicemen or commissioned officers.
  • The candidate should have an MS or MD degree in the relevant specialization, as applicable.

Selection criteria:

  • The candidate will be selected on the basis of a computer-based test,
  • The written tests will carry 80 marks, consisting of 80 MCQs. The test paper will be 90 minutes long.
  • Those who will secure 50% marks or more will be called for a departmental practical test that will carry 20 marks.
  • Candidates who secure more than 50% marks in both the tests will be eligible for admission.
  • In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred.

  • The second stage will also consist of a theory paper worth 40 marks. It will have 40 MCQs related to the MD, MS, MDS and M.Sc levels.
  • Stages 1 and 2 combined will be 90 minutes long.
  • Candidates should score at least 35 marks in the two stages combined to be considered for Stage 3.
  • 10 additional marks will be added to the total score of the two stages combined to candidates who are eligible for Stage 3 and also hold a medical degree or an M.Sc degree in nursing.
  • In stage three, the candidates will have to take a departmental practical test carrying 20 marks. These marks will be added to the marks of stages 1 and 2 (including special weightage marks) to determine the final selections.

Ques. Can I modify my choice of centre of examination or city after the last date?

Ans. No, the city or centre of examination cannot be changed once chosen and allotted, by any means. The centre of examination chosen by the candidate is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is confirmed only after the receipt of payment.

Ques. How can I communicate through email with the examination section of AIIMS?

Ans. You can communicate using your registered email address only. The email address of the examination section is aiims.mbbsexam2021@gmail.com.

Ques. Where can I get the prospectus of AIIMS PG [MD/MS/DM/M.Ch (6 years)/MDS] entrance examination for admission to AIIMS Delhi?

Ans. The prospectus is only available on the AIIMS website http://www.aiimsexams.org. No hard copies are available.

Ques. What are the documents required to be uploaded with my application?

Ans. No documents are required during the online registration process, except the PDF copy of PWBD certificate. However, you have to upload images of your colour photograph with a white background, left thumb impression and legible signature at the time of basic registration.

Ques. Can I use a photograph taken by mobile phone camera for uploading in the registration form?

Ans. Photographs taken by a mobile phone camera, polaroid camera, or black and white photographs, are not acceptable. Only professionally taken photographs will be accepted.

This is No. 1 college for MBBS in the field of medicine. It provides you with an extraordinary campus which cost a little of 1.2k rupees and Fees for 5-year courses was roughly 5k. There was a good and best known qualified teacher who support their students a lot. Basically, if you choose AIIMS Delhi or you preparing for it so you have a focus on class 11 and 12 NCERT book that was enough. You have qualified for the NTA NEET EXAM whose form will be coming soon, till Feb March 2021. After that you wait for counselling once it was started then you have to apply for All India Quota so you get AIIMS Delhi Minimum mark Gen 695 or above/ OBC 680 or above/ Sc 630+/ St 580+. It was trending situation of year 2020 admission in AIIMS Delhi. Keep preparing, I blessed you so you can achieve this Wonderful college.

Being a tertiary care hospital, AIIMS might not fit for students belonging to basic sciences. And for medicos it is the ideal place. Management is good but they dont work even for a single second if their shift is over, so if you got late for something. Better luck next day.
