Placement abd job opportunity is very nice in college about 100 of company visit the campus every year and internship scene is also nice as company also offer internship to student and spend is offer to the post graduation student only
Yes, the college provides internship, in campus(USIP) as well as companies recruit interns from campus. The overall experience is nice but the the number of seats available are very less as compared to the number of students aspiring for the same.
The placements are fairly decent. Let me get one thing out of the way. No single college could attain 100% placements. Or maybe only a handful actually can. And the rest who advertise by saying that they have 100% placements are just straight-up liars. With that being said, the placements were at the very best during the last academic year (2019), with around 80% of the students bagging placements. The highest package acquired was Rs. 14 LPA. The training and placement team works hard to bring companies for internships as well.
The placement is assumed to be good with the average going over 10 Lakh LPA. But it is mostly for IT/CS Grads. As for Design with the current scenario, it seems very difficult to even get placed through campus.
The placements and job opportunities in our college have got the best records for an engineering college. The placement percentage is more than 90% according to me. Our college provides internships too at the end of 2nd year. I've already been placed with a company and average package is about 6 LPA.
Placement of DTU is very impressive infact this are vary from 80-100%. The college is also provides the internship to the students in 3rd year. Not all the students get the internship but some can. And stipend is based on the company in which you are doing internship . I am 3rd year student, i didn't face yet internship session of DTU
Yes the college provides internships and campus placements but the fact is the number of people getting jobs and total number vary but still it's good upto 70% placement record is there which I believe is very good in recent times.
There are good opportunity for average students too and good chances to get placed in company. Yes my college provides internship. I didn't get any internship from my college but I know about stipend, which is quite good for student as part time job salary.
Placements in the campus are excellent. All big firms around the globe comes for hiring like Google , Facebook , Microsoft , D shaw , Goldman Sachs , Amazon , Samsung etc. Around 250 companies visit last year for campus placements.Last year the highest package offered is 1.27 crore p.a. by Uber (california ) and average package for computer related profile is 12-13 lacs per anum. Around 100-120 students got a package above 20 lacs.
Yes , there is a new programme launched by University in 2016 University Student Internship Programme (USIP) under which students get deployed for a period of 3 months in various departments of university in H.o.d offices or dean office etc. and get a stipend of 2.5k every month. Also in 3rd year there is a internship session for students coming into 3rd year and All big firms like Google , Microsoft , Amozon ,Samsung, Goldman sachs , Adobe etc. visit the campus for hiring students for internship and provide very good packages of around (50k- 1 lac) per month.Around 150-200 companies come for internship hiring.
The placements at DTU are at par with the IITs. The placement body is lead by students. Every year many companies visit the campus. The coding branches are the first to get placed and bag the highest packages. Other core branches have placements but the pay offered to them is a bit low. Branches like ENE, EP ,PCT , Biotechnology see the lowest placements.
Yes, DTU provides on campus internship placements. But these opportunities are limited. So most students apply for internships off campus. With the brand name of college, it wouldn't be much trouble finding the internship of your choice.
