Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) conducted the first phase of its 2019-2020 placement drive during the last semester's pre-COVID-19 lockdown. During the drive, 52 companies extended 257 job offers to students of various postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma courses.
Microsoft India offered a pre-placement offer to a student of B.Tech (Comp. Engg), with the highest annual salary package of INR. 41 LPA and also had offered an internship to a student of B.Tech (Elect. & Comm.) with a stipend of INR. 80000/- per month.
Companies which extended job offers include SAMSUNG R&D, SIEMENS, Mahindra Comviva, Vedanta Ltd, NIIT, L&T Ltd, American Express, WIPRO Technologies, IBM, L&T Construction, Innovaccer, TFT, Springboard, Newgen Technologies, Zia Semiconductors, TCS, OYO, AVIZVA, Fujitsu Consulting, JLL Consulting, Azim Premji Foundation, Shareit, TV9, CINIF group, OPTUM, United Health Group, etc.
