Eligibility:  Master of Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks + Written Test/ UGC NET/JRF, SLET or M.Phil. Score

National Law University (NLU) Admission

Admission to Integrated BA LLB and LLM Courses will be granted on the basis of AILET Score. Similarly, for Ph.D Admissions applicants should hold a valid score in UGC NET/JRF, SLET Score, or should hold an M.Phil Degree.

Ph.D. Aspirants who do not have a valid score or M.Phil degree will be required to appear for Entrance Test conducted by NLU Delhi. Further, all candidates should appear for Personal Interview conducted by NLU Delhi.

How to Apply for NLU Delhi?

  • Visit the official website of the college and click on the Register to apply now link.
  • Fill the details into the User Registration Form.
  • Confirm Registration details by clicking on the Confirm button.
  • After you Login in the first page that is displayed is "Application Locker'. Click on NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY from the List of colleges
  • Choose your application form and click on the Apply Button.
  • Fill all details on the form for each of the sections.
  • Click Submit for saving all details and proceeding back to the Application Locker for making payment for all pending application forms.
  • In the Application Locker, under the Pending Applications area, choose your forms for which you wish to make payment and Click on the Make Payment.
  • On the Make Payment Page, choose Mode of Payment (Cash/Post/Debit/Credit Card/Net Transfer) and verify the Amount (INR 3050 for General and INR 1050 for SC/ST)and click on Proceed.

National Law University (NLU) Facilities

Library: The university library has a rich collection of over 37,500 books, journals, 180 current subscriptions to journals, newspapers along with 250 CDs and DVDs. The library has a digital collection of 472 E-Books from Oxford University Press and 464 E-Books from Cambridge University Press.

Internet Centre: The campus has wifi facility located in the library and has 50 high-end desktops with Microsoft operating system and well equipped with optical drives.

Digital Classrooms: The classrooms are well equipped with digital podiums, LCD projector and display screen and internet access along with e-Station Multimedia Podium equipped with the facilities of touch screen, writing, sound system, visualizer, CD player and recording.

Auditorium: The university has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of over 650 people. It is equipped with state of the art audio and visual facilities. The auditorium is mainly used for seminars, conferences and cultural programs.

Transport Facility: The university has two cars and a bus which is used for student’s activities such as Court Visits, Legal Aid Programs and Clinics.

Other Facility: Apart from the upper mentioned facilities NLU Delhi also have E-Moot Court Hall, Medical Centre and Ambulance, Banks, Sports and Games, Cafeteria and Mess, and Halls of Residence.

Faculty members at both institutes are accomplished and award-winning with names such as Dr. Anuradha Binnuri, Dr. Atmaram Fakirba Shelke, and others at Symbiosis and Prof. Anju Tyagi and Dr. Amita Punj at NLU. There are about 14-20 faculty members at these institutes. Apart from this students are selected on the basis of merit of 12th and the respective entrance exams of these institutes, i.e. SLAT for Symbiosis and AILET for NLU Delhi.         This course needs exposure as much as possible hence the college make sure that we attend internships to gain an experience of a workplace before being recruited, Our seniors have worked under judges, NGOs, law firms, etc. Some of the companies that recruit from here are Singh and Singh advocates, Lexport, Reliance, Indian Oil, Kotak. Except those who feel like doing their masters in law, which is a lot, rest of the others get recruited.

        "A short review on my college"

        We are supposed to be interning with a law firm, a judge, or any government/non-government organization before the recruitment to know and experience what a workplace feels like. There are a lot of organizations that come here for recruiting, government organizations like UNDP, UNICEF and some well-known organizations like Kotak, Indian Oil, ICC come here during the campus drive. Most of the students are recruited.

        "Making my dreams come true with NLU"

        This course needs exposure as much as possible hence the college make sure that we attend internships to gain an experience of a workplace before being recruited, Our seniors have worked under judges, NGOs, law firms, etc. Some of the companies that recruit from here are Singh and Singh advocates, Lexport, Reliance, Indian Oil, Kotak. Except those who feel like doing their masters in law, which is a lot, rest of the others get recruited.

        National Law University is a government-run university and has an excellent infrastructure with the best faculty from worldwide. Most of the faculty is permanent and good and comes from a strong background in law considering they rejected job offers from some highly reputed law firms. The teaching methodology of all the faculty members is unique and appealing which makes the daunting task of learning very easy.
