Annually 200000lakh for a general category students. But it changes according to category and ones annual income. If ones annual income is less then 500000 lakh per year then college gives priority to them. In this case free can be reduced up to 50000 per semester, including hostel fee.
College is very good regarding study. As I'm a first year student now only we have subject for personality development. We have vivas too n they informs us how should be our gesture during professional life or in any interview. We had just an intro with reliance company. N a famous motivational speaker of YouTube.
It has above average fee for general category students but the fee structure is feasible for the other students categories. There are many other fees and charges as hostel and canteen and mass food. This does effect the students with not a place to stay.
The institute has a very good course curriculum but the exam structure not very clear. Yes the curriculum was groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students, that’d be helpful in securing on-campus placements. There were many industrial visits organized for the students.
For me it's expensive because financial condition of our family is not that good and for other general category people also it's a bit expensive. They have to opt for an education loan for this thing.Otherwise they have to face a lot.Every six months we need to pay almost 70000 for new semester.
According to me exam structure of our college is fair. Course curriculum is research driven.PhD students are doing research in their respective fields and helping us in our studies also.Exam structure is like 2 exams, one is mid-semester and other is end-semester taking place every semester.
Tution fee foe each semester will be 62, 000 rupees and hostel fee will be around 28, 000 rupees. Which can be paid thourough almost all of the online payment methods. As per MhourD rules, people whose family annual income will be less than 1 lakh can have their full fee waived, alon with 2/3 rd of the fee waived for people whose family annual income will be in between 1 to 5 lakhs.
Course is of 4 years, consisting of 2 semesters per year. Each semester has end semester exam carryiny 50% of the total GPA, mid semester exam carrying 25%, and internal exams like class test or presentations carrying 25% of the total gpa. In addition our faculty encourages to develop miNo,r projects by providing necessary funding and reffering to leading institutions for internship opportunities. Our department has a special students authority called the TESLA thourough which we can share our thoughts and knowledge with others along with having some field visits.
Since this was a government college the fees were quite good. And they were No, such hidden charges. One time semester payment was done and then only the next semester it was asked. And they expected only payment via DD back then and No, other modes. Maybe things have evolved Now.
Since we were only the 2nd batch of the college, with No, proper infrastructure and facility. The course were truly theory based. The more of programming and system related courses were included and driven which at this present stage has only limited to certain extend. The curriculum was good covering the topics must for the graduation. but No, engineering aspects were explored. it all was understanding based on your capability.
The fee structure is different for different categories like its different for •SC and ST students •DASA students •General category There aren't any additional fees for admission. The fee breakdown is transparent. Mode of payments accepted are: •Cheque •DD •Online payment
The course curriculum is fantastic as compared to other colleges. There are various modules for each subject. There is a separate course for speaking skills. As per research, there are many Phd scholars who do research in various fields. There are industrial trips which help students understand the application of various machines.
The fee structure is similar to other Nit system. Not too high as private institutes not too low. It varies around 63k - 77k per semester. The hostel fees are around 30k per semester. Not too high not too low.
As it is the Institute of National Importance, the course is independently selected yet the similar to able to crack another competitive exam GATE. We have 2 minor exam, 1 mid sem and the final sem exam for each course in a single semester.
Fee structure is as follows For general and OBC category - around 2lacs (1 year) For ST, SC and PWD around 80k (1 year) There is also a scheme for ST and SC category students in which the government provide full fee redemption plus extra money for laptop and books top 10 students of respective category. As I am a general category student I feel that the fees for general category students is a bit on a expensive side and there is no scholarship facility to meritorious students.
There is credit base course system in which we earn credits for every 1hr class lecture and 2 credits for each 3hr lab class. We have a total of 8 semester of 4 months each which are as follows 1. Odd semester - (aug-nov) After that we have 1 month winter break. 2. Even semester - (jan-apr) After that we have 1 month winter break. Course Curriculum is good as we have subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, material sciences, mechanics, CS in first year to make students know branch is for their betterment. We can also upgrade our branch (based on seat availability and your CGPA). From 2nd year onwards they only study branch specific subjects. EXAM PATTERN: There 3 minor exams and 2 maj...
Since National Institute of Technology Goa is Central government funded college its fee structure varies with the category student belongs to. If a student is of general category he will have to pay around 1lakh per year as tuition fees. Whereas a SC/ST student doesnt have any tuition fees.
We have two semesters per year. Odd semester and Even semester. Each semester is four month long. Odd sem starts in August and ends in November. Even sem starts in January and ends in April. We have four months holidays. December and May to July. Course curriculum is designed according to the semester period. It is sufficient to finish off the required syllabus in time. Also we have two exams per semester. Mid sem and End sem examination. Midsem is in around end of 2nd month and Endsem exam is in around end of 4th month. We do not have any gaps in between two examination.
The fee structure is kind of expensive, but after all it is decided by the Government. Per semester fee is Rs. 66,700 (only tuition fee), but fee waivers are present if the students are financially poor (income below Rs. 5 lakhs)
The course curriculum is extensive and regularly revised. It is in accordance with the curriculum followed by all other IITs and NITs. The semester examinations consist of 2 minors, 1 midsem and 1 endsem exam. All the marks of these exams are added and a GPA is calculated based on the overall performance of other students. Finally the GPAs of all semesters are combined to give the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
