In the Chemical department, we have nice labs which play the most important factor in your placement because all practical knowledge can be gained by labs only. Apart from that, they will provide contact with faculties and if you have any doubt then you can reach them. Faculties are also good if students are dedicated then they will definitely help you as best as they can. We got our schedule for a whole year in the starting thus all the exams and events follow this timeline very strictly. It is not that hard in getting passed in exams we just have to start to buckle up things 2 or 3 weeks before the exam.
Chose Petroleum Engineering course to become an energy warrior. Faculty: Student :: 1:10. Highly qualified faculties with PhD degrees in respective fields. Quite good and interactive teaching methodology. On time exams and moderately difficult.
Petroleum engineering syllabus is updated every now and then and also the faculty here is very well qualified and has good knowledge about the industry and good teaching skills. The faculty to student ratio is less and term examinations are held twice a year.
The course curriculum is update time and again and also the university does not come under Gujarat Technical University board so it has its own syllabus. The faculty to student ratio is less as the class gets divided into different batches. All the faculty members are very well qualified and have good experience too.
I chose the electrical engineering course because I interested and I loved the subject. All facilities are well qualified. All done P.hd in a specific subject. All teach using board and project and self-studies. There are two exams mid-semester and end semester.
Fees for graduation in PDPU is the highest amongst all universities of the state. Hostel fees are 88,500 per year excluding food. Mess service costs 45,000 per year. Graduation in Engineering costs around 1,50,000 annually. Electricity bills for the hostel are to be paid separately. As it is far from city, transportation expenses can ruin your budget. I would say Engineering in PDPU may cost you around 5 lakh per year.
Course curriculum is very well structured and suitable for best knowledge of particular subject. But half of the times, it is felt that faculties are not much into it. Sometimes they leave some topics or just exclude them whenever they want. Research opportunities are by far very well provided to students. Students are encouraged to research and publish papers right from the 2nd year itself. University grants funds for students to go to publish papers in India as well as abroad too. University provides you 50% funds for this purpose. It is obvious that graduation students are not much aware of these things, but university has done it perfectly. University organizes Industry visits in later half of 2nd year. Students are taken to a full day industry visits. University bears all the expenses, however they had got those expenses as fees earlier.
I had an interest in Civil engineering from the very beginning. We are given faculty advisor per 10 students which is a very good thing for students and it is rare in any other colleges.each and every faculty are PhD qualified with a lot of experience and that makes it very easy for us when they are explaining us all the contents of the course. We are having two exams in the term one mid-semester exam and other end semester exam. If you know how to do smart work with fewer load exams are easy to crack. Also if your concepts are clear you can easily pass the examination.
I was a bit interested in this field so I selected civil engineering. We are 120+ in my batch opting civil engineering and there around 20-25 faculty in the civil department. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. from IIT and nit least qualification is MTech. The teaching method is obsolete but effective. we have 2 exams midterm abd end term exams. Not much difficult to pass
Expensive fee structure face for every year we have to pay about 2.5 lakhs. Additional fee charges not to be paid in order to secure an admission to my college in my course. For brighter students there is scholarship available in every branch in the matter of the fee the college is very strictly not allowing any delay to the filling in the Fee. We need to pay the fees in the commencement of the semester that is one issue.
my a four-year curriculum is very well designed we are given knowledge about the cource from basic to too deep into the cource.ours ko University has also arranged organising some field visit so the student can better understand like in my linked in profile I have included the kutch geological field visit in that we have to go go to the Kutch and we will collect some samples of earth so we can deeply understand about the geological terms like traps and seals. We have we have total 8th semester for every course in each semester there is two examination one is mid semester examination and one is and semester examination mid semester examination we have to cover half the topics of the every semester and end semester we have to cover all the topics related to the course to that and their total 8 years of 8th semester we can be able to complete our studies and exam pattern is like in mid semester we have 50 marks question and end semester hundred marks question paper
The faculties were well renowned in their fields and also very supportive. The focus of the institute wasn't just academics, it was shaping individuals to be the best they can be. The course structure is great because you get to explore your interests in the first two years and then pick what you're most interested in and then study those for the next two years. This is a great way to ensure that you choose a field that you're happy in and can also excel in it.
