Students can seat for the placement from 7th-semester onwards. Everyone has thier different requirements in placement so we cannot comment on the eligibility of students. In Chemical before covid, we have a placement percentage of around 80 percent with an average of 6 l.p.a. and the highest placed student hot 18 lpa in 2019.
Firstly I choose this college because of the big name of Mukesh Ambani because the college is owned by Mukesh Ambani. Currently, I am in my 3rd year in Chemical Engineering and my department is pretty good. PDPU provides a lot of opportunities for research, co-curricular, and cultural activities. For admission you we have 3 quota i.e., for general (35 percent seats), for Gujaratis (50 percent seats), and 15 percent for NRIs. For general you need to clear JEE and For Gujrati you need to clear ACPC and then you have to apply for it and you will be selected on the basis of merit list and by counseling. The only backdrop of PDPU is their fee because their fee is too high for an undergraduate course.
Good infrastructure, research, and laboratory facilities, overall growth and development opportunities. Located in peaceful and green environment, connected with various good tourism locations. Highly reputed organization.
JEE/GUJCET
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is one of the top universities of Gujarat and also one of some universities in India which provide petroleum engineering courses. Due to the demand of this industry and the ranking of the university I enrolled in it. I did my admission process through my JEE marks.
JEE or through ACPC
I am very keen to study petroleum engineering and this was the only best university with the course in my state. Also Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University ranks fourth in terms of petroleum engineering all over India. The admission procedure here is done through ACPC or even through competitive examination marks.
Boards and GUJCET
In semester 7 we get campus placement. Many companies like reliance, Adani, ONGC, Infosys, and TCS, and any other companies come for placement. The average package is 6-7 lakhs and the highest package is around 15-16 lakhs.
Good study and faculty members for teaching. Admission through ACPC and all India rank. 50% seat through ACPC and 35% through all India rank and rest 15% for NRI. Good other activities are other than study like sports, NSS, NCC, Different clubs for activities.
If you want best academic, PDPU has it. If you want some education and some college life enjoyment, PDPU has it. If you want to grow your career just in sports but want to be graduated with less efforts in academics, PDPU has it. If you want pure enjoyment of college life, no education then also PDPU is best in it. But make sure that you or your family are able to pay fees and expenses easily.
I got admission from All India Quota as I had decent JEE marks. The process for registration starts in mid June. Students can apply and submit marks, preferred branch/es and details till end of June. In beginning weeks of July, the counseling starts. Based on registration, a merit list is prepared on the basis of JEE marks for All India quota. Student has to go to university on specified date. Then based on your merit rank and students present during counseling, a student will be offered his/her 1st preferred branch. If the seats in 1st preferred branch are full, then the 2nd and so on. If one is eligible for his/her 1st preferred branch, he/she won't be allowed to get admission into other applied branches.
From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Major companies like LARSON & TOUBRO Ltd., ONGC, BYJUS, DLF, TATA PROJECTS and many more companies visited for hiring students with 80% of the students getting placed. The highest package offered is about 7-8 lacs per annum and the average package is about 5 lacs per annum. My plans after getting a B.tech degree is to get job as this university provides high chances of getting placed at a better place.
Good aspects are because all the faculties and facilities are really good and very helpful with sound knowledge about the subject they are teaching us and can solve our difficulty at any time. The bad aspect is just the fees which are mammoth in total and is almost impossible to pay for the middle-class families when we include hostel and mess. I took admission here through ACPC rank in round 3 held at LD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. I preferred this college because one of my relatives suggested it very high in all aspects. I did not go through any blog, forum or website while selecting this college, in fact, I myself visited the college.
from 7th semester students are eligible for placement. many companies like ONGC byjus l&t etc have been on campus here avg package is 4 lacs and highest 5-6 lacs around 80-85 seating in placement are placed. job mostly!
Um like PDPU is life changer selection for me, if u seek a career with every aspect in life pdpu is for you. Here not only academics are important but one needs to be good with other skills too and if not we have many clubs encouraging talents of students so you can educate yourself as well as live your best years here. We have all sorts of labs here concerned to my engineering branch college campus is lit, no other campus in Gujarat can match atmosphere here we have canteen also we have CCD and freeze land within the college. We have an auditorium , all sorts of grounds for sports as here sports is an important part of our culture we have a sports tournament PETROCUP biggest tournament at ug level, only perks here are mess food.
Overall infrastructure is very good you got very good opportunity for studying abroad through the student exchange program offered by the University but all University peace University also have bad in faculty management because some are some faculties are very good and some faculties are very bad. Students have to learn by their self.
It offers a great curriculum for liberal studies, the course being offered by only 6-7 colleges in India. It ranks third for this course and has amazing extra-curricular activities like committee works and fests and also is very supportive of individuals persuing their personal talents and interests.
