Rai University (RU) Ahmedabad is a self-financed private University which is situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and established by the Gujarat State Legislature under Gujarat Act No. 12 of 2012. The University is approved by the Government of Gujarat as well as the Bar Council of India and also is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Rai University was awarded as the Best Upcoming Private University in the year 2012 by ASSOCHAM. The current strength of Rai University Ahmedabad is 1,383 including male and female students, as well as a strong and diverse faculty of over 75 members. 

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in several specializations. Admission to Rai University can be made on the basis of scores obtained in qualifying examinations conducted by the state of Gujarat and/or through personal interviews. The admission to the MBA program is done through the Entrance Exam conducted by ACPC and admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses is granted on the basis of GUJCET and PGCET scores respectively.

Ans. Eligible candidates that are seeking admission at Rai University Ahmedabad can first download/obtain the application form from the University website/campus. After which they are required to fill up the application form which has to be sent/ submitted in person to the University Campus along with attested documents and application fees of Rs 500/- (cash or DD in favor of “Rai University” payable at Ahmedabad, India). The application fee for the PhD program is INR 1,500. The required documents include  Self Attested Photocopy of Degree Certificate (for Post Graduate Programs), Self Attested Photocopy of All year/ All Semester Mark-sheets (for Post Graduate Programs), Mark sheet of X and XII, Passing certificate of X and XII, 4 Passport Sized Colored Photographs and a Photocopy of Govt.
