Fees -

The fee structure is feasible which is approximately 10 lakh four BTech course of four years. Tuition fee full waiver is given to SC/ST student so they just have to pay ten thousand only for four years. The hostel fee is applicable to all who wants to take hostel accommodation and it is 45000 per year (mess fee included).

Course Curriculum -

As it is a technical institute so the curriculum must be updated according to modern technological advancement which is not done frequently. The exam structure contains a mid-semester exam and an end semester exam along with a continuous evaluation through tests and quizzes throughout the semester. Practical exam and Viva is conducted once in a semester a week before the end semester exam. Overall the curriculum helps you in improving your personality and also to make you a better professional.

Fees -

I must say fee structure is expensive with 70,000 rs. Per year for academics in our time and for hostel it was 42,000 rs. Including food so per year you have to pay 1lac+ for four years of time if you're indian, for NRI students it is very much high.

Course Curriculum -

Curriculum was very good, with some of the regular subjects related to your branch, college offers you many electives which you can choose based on your interest and get some knowledge about these subjects.

Fees -

The fee of BTech in ME is 60000 rupees per semester. This course is having 8 semesters then the total fee of this course is around 480000 rupees included the all other charges. It is really feasible compared to other institutes.

Course Curriculum -

I chose Mechanical Engineering in Btech and their course curriculum is very interesting. It gives an exposure, we can make ourself shine here this course is very good and the exam structure is also too good.

Fees -

The Fee structure is Feasible as compared to what private Colleges. We have to pay per semester and For Hostels it is Yearly. No other Hidden Charges. Some students also get Scholarship and Fee Exempt who belong to Lower income bracket.

Course Curriculum -

The course varies from branch to branch for 4 Years. The first Year curriculum is same for all and Consist of basic Science and engineering. From 2nd Year We had Different Curriculum as per Engineering Branch.

Fees -

Feasible. Because this is government college so in a year we have to give 70000 for college fee but if your family income is less than 5 lakhs then you haven't pay any money. For hostels facilities you have to pay 43000 every year.

Course Curriculum -

There are 8 semester in B.Tech and Course is according to our branch but In first year course is same for all. In every semester there is mid semester exam, end semester exam, practical exam, class test is going on and at the end of semester they sum up all the marks & prepare results.

Reality of college

Fees -

Yes fee is little high as compared to other local college but fee remission allowances are provide by central government so the relaxation in fees for the students whose family income is lower can also afford the college.

Course Curriculum -

Some of the subjects the course should definitely be updated we are leaning some of the extinct techniques. For our college the updation of course is must then only we will be familiar to new technology and no use of studying the course of 8 year ago Exam structure is also the same we are only taught how to score marks as marks are not there no CG if no CG no allowance to sit in interview.Hence some new methods should be used where we are really taught and explained about the improvement rather then following the conventional practice, some new method are required.

Fees -

It is very feasible. Students whose Annual income is less than 5 lac can get the 66% off in tution fees . And the students with annual income less than 1 lac gets 100% scholarship. Actually the original tution fee is about 1.25 lac per annum.

Course Curriculum -

Couse is same for all the NITs so it is old . I think it should be revised again and should add the current technologies. Exam structure is same as most of the college Mid term exam in the mid of the semester and at the end main End Sem exam.

Wonderful and Unforgettable memories

Fees -

In our time, the fee structure is very much different as of now. Presently, the fees are to be paid at a rate of Rs.75000/- per semester as tuition fee and Rs.35000/- as hostel fee per semester. But don't worry as the government has bought new scheme of 100% fee reimbursement to the students having income less than 2LPA and 75% fee reimbursement to the students having income between 2-4 LPA. So, it is really feasible with this scheme.

Course Curriculum -

Mechanical Engineering in one word is the heart of NIT Surat. There are plenty of jobs available in mechanical engineering, as I am in my final year me itself is the self-witness. I even got placed in a good company with 7LPA. If we have good passion definitely our professors will sanction money for our projects in the research area. (Especially in NIT's) This is a great opportunity to all of us. There are also very interesting electives. They will be in the third year and final year. We can choose electives from any branch in the college.( Like a mechanical Engg student can take the elective of a computer engg branch), this is a very good option for us.

Fees -

The fee structure is very feasible for my course. In my integrates MSc course I have to pay the tuition fee every year. And it is around 15000 to 18000 range which is different every year wise but in this range only. And then there is my hostel fee and mess fee, which I need to pay semester wise. I pay 35000 in the odd semester and 14000 for mess in even semester.

Course Curriculum -

I would like to add those things in the curriculum which are required as per current demand. And main thing is that we are studying the same syllabus since it was 1st announced, after that there is no change in the curriculum. And one more thing is that we should enhance the practical knowledge of the student.
