Ours is a proffessional college, in 5. 5 year programe, 4. 5 years study + 1 year of internship. The interns work in different departments of the college and clinics like surgery, medicine, pathology, animal farms etc. thus we gain thorough practical knowledge of our field. After degree we have a lot of opportunities like working as a veterinary surgeon in govt. and private sectors, pursuing post grad. working in nutrition industry, in public health sector etc.
Approximately INR:- 50000-60000 , for girls there is no admission fees so it is affordable for all of us and most importantly for girls to encourage them to do veterinary

Course Curriculum is as per the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). There is semester system. The whole degree programme consists of 8 semesters ( including 1 whole semester for in plant training, that is tentatively 7th sem ). There is no examinations in in-plant training sessions. Fee structure is a little bit feasible. In first year it charged 32000 and in second year it is 11570. It's generally higher than other govt college in this field. No online procedure is followed to pay fees. It is still manual. No additional charges are taken after submission of annual fee once in a year. If someone is fined then he or she have to give fine. There is no provision regarding concession or breakdown in the fee.

For consequent professional years fee is 1000 less than first years. Mess security Rs5000 has to be paid additionally.
Course structure is very interactive and student friendly.first two years are almost theoretical white 3rd is theory cum practical.Research opportunities are plenty but one would have to opt for post graduation to really get invested in research. Exam structure consists of 3 internal assessments each of 40 marks with 10 marks final weightage. Scores of best two out of 3 would be considered. At the end of each professional year extenal assessment takes place of 100 marks and weightage of 40 marks.external assessment is accompanied by internal practical exam of weightage of 40 marks.
