University of Kashmir or popularly known as Kashmir University is one of the prestigious universities, rated A+ grade by NAAC in 2019. Kashmir University Admission
Admission to the university is done through online mode. Candidates who wish to apply are required to visit the official website of the university and submit the application form. The University provides different courses and every course has different admission procedure, some candidates may go through entrance exams or some are selected on the basis of national level examination rankings for a particular course they are opting for. The admission criteria for some of the major courses are mentioned below.

Kashmir University Reservation
Kashmir University provides reservation to SC/ ST category candidates and students under different categories. Out of total seats, 67% of seats are filled through Open merit category candidates. Remaining 33% of seats available in the program will be filled up from amongst the reserved categories in order of merit. The table below represents the category wise reservation criteria.

Kashmir University Admit Card
Candidates will have to download the University of Kashmir Admit Cards in order to give entrance examinations for UG, PG or any diploma course. The university notifies the publication for the admit cards in their general notification section.

- Click on the concerned course admit card download link. The link will open a new window for Admit Card Download at the concerned page.
- Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth in the respective places and click on the Download tab of the website.
Note: Candidates are required to bring their Admit Cards at the time of examination because without these they will not be permitted to sit for the exam

University of Kashmir Scholarship
Kashmir University provides various scholarships under different categories to deserving candidates. The university offers three different scholarships mentioned below:
- Merit Scholarship: Two merit holders in any course are eligible for 2 merit scholarships. It is granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test.
- Research Scholarship: There are four scholarships in each department that are awarded for carrying out research leading to award of Ph.D./ M.Phil degrees. In addition, they will also receive a grant for meeting miscellaneous expenses annually.
- Student Aid: It is financial assistance offered to meritorious students who come from low-income groups. The university also provides assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.

Kashmir University Distance Education
Kashmir University has a separate department for Distance Education which was established in the year 1976. Kashmir University provides various UG and PG courses under Kashmir University Distance Education. Kashmir University Distance Education focuses on providing education facilities through ODL Mode (open and distance learning).
Kashmir University Facilities
Below mentioned are some of the facilities offered by the university to cater to the needs of the students:
- Hostels: There is an accommodation facility available for both male and female students admitted to the university. Each hostel provides mess facilities and services to the students. The room is alloted by a committee according to prescribed norms.
- Sports: The University has various cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, handball, baseball courts within the main campus. There is also a health club with the latest machinery to provide physical fitness to the students.
- Library: There is a rich collection of 6,36,000 books, 56,513 journals, 415 manuscripts, 545 CDs and DVDs. Besides, the library also includes Braille books, Digital Talking books, newspapers, magazines. etc.

I have to take admission in UG course may I know the last date

Hi Rayees, To get admission in MBA from University of Kashmir, you need to fulfill the Eligibility Criteria of this course which is listed below:
Candidate must have graduation in Management, Arts, Science, Social Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Law (Professional), Engineering, Medicine, Technology etc. or any other degree recognized by the university as equivalent to said degree
OR
(b) having passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accounts/ Cost & Works Accountants and Company Secretaries of India.
Admission will be based on CMAT Entrance Exam.
