Karnatak University Dharwad (KUD), is a state university, sprawling in 888 acres of land, recognized by UGC and has also been accredited by NAAC, established on 1st March 1950, located in the Dharwad region of Karnataka State. It is the 2nd oldest university in the Karnataka state located in the mesmerizing region of Dharwad. Under the university, there are five constituent colleges present in different parts of the state with 224 teachers, 47 PG Departments, and 4500 students. Karnatak University Courses
Karnatak University Dharwad, offers various PG, PG Diploma, PhD & Certificate courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Management, Commerce, Education & Law in both affiliated & constituent colleges. KUD also have three Post Graduate Campuses located in the districts of Karwar, Gadag & Haveri. The minimum eligibility criteria to seek admission in courses offered by KUD is 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination. Karnatak University Distance Education
Karnatak University Invites students to join its UG & PG external programs under the School of Correspondence Education Dharwad. This year KUD is offering non-semester based courses under the category of Basic, Optional & Compulsory programs in the name of External courses.
Students can download the application form in order to apply for the courses offered by the distance education department’s official website. Students have to submit their application form to the nearest college (selected as an examination center) for KUD Distance Education.

KUD Results 2019
Karnatak University Dharwad (KUD) conducts the semester examinations twice in a year i.e. in the months of May & December. Students can check their UG & PG external results (for affiliated colleges) & PG results (for constituent colleges) by simply surfing the official website of the university for regular courses results of the Karnatak University and the distance education website for the results of the distance education courses.
Karnatak University Dharwad Exam Timetable
KUD conducts semester examinations twice in a year to evaluate the performance of students after the completion of the coursework. For PG courses the University follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBSS) as a part of the course structure. Students can check their KUD exam timetable through the official website of KUD.
