Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) offers MBA dual specialization (Finance/ Marketing/ Human Resource Management/ Rural Management / Fisheries Business Management) and MBA in Energy Management

The duration of the programs is 2 years. A bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% aggregate marks is the minimum requirement to become eligible for KUFOS MBA admission

Selection of candidates is done on the basis of KMAT/CAT/CMAT scores followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview

KUFOS MBA Eligibility Criteria

MBA (Dual Specialization)

• Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Science, Commerce, Arts or any other professional graduation degree from recognized Universities with at least an aggregate 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in optional subjects under the (10+2+3) system (5% relaxation for SC /ST Candidates).

Or

• €All professional graduates from Deemed Universities or State Agricultural Universities under the ICAR system with at least an OGPA of 6.0/10.0 (5.5/10.0 for SC /ST Candidates).
• Candidates who are waiting for their final results of the qualifying degree are also eligible for the MBA admission, but they must have completed their qualifying marks before the commencement of the first-semester examination. 

MBA in Energy Management (Dual Specialization)

• B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical/ Electronics / Automobile / Petroleum/ Marine Engineering / Production and Industrial Engineering/ Polymer Technology with 50%/equivalent CGPA 

Or,

• M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry from recognized Universities, in regular mode
• Candidates who are waiting for their final results of the qualifying degree are also eligible for the MBA admission, but they must have completed their qualifying marks before the commencement of the first-semester examination. 

KUFOS MBA Admission Guidelines

Admissions are granted on the basis of KMAT/CAT/CMAT scores followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview

How to apply?

• Visit the online admission portal of KUFOS
• Click on New Candidate Registration
• Register with basic details
• Later on login with your user ID and the password generated.
• Fill in all the academic and personal details required.
• The students shortlisted must appear for a group discussion conducted by the University.
• They are further selected based upon their score followed by a personal interview.

KUFOS MBA Scholarships

Three MBA students from the general category and two MBA students from the fishermen community category are eligible to take the Manappuram Foundation Scholarship. An amount of rupees 4000 is provided for the students every month. The management looks out for the students and provides a scholarship for whoever is eligible.

KUFOS MBA Placements

The University has a placement cell that ensures the maximum number of placements to the students of the University. Export Inspection Agency and Seafood Exporters Association of Kochi provide training and placement to 20 students every year. Maximum students opt for higher studies abroad
