Ans.Both NITIE and IIM Indore are top colleges for Business management courses and choosing between these two is really a tough decision.
But having friends there, I would suggest you go for NITIE over IIM Indore due to the following reasons.
The placements are very good especially for marketing and sales profiles from FMCG companies like P&G, Hindustan Unilever Limited, and many others.
Many students have also got internships in marketing roles like B2B marketing, Digital Marketing from companies like Abbott, P&G, Hindustan Unilever Limited.
Many banking and financial institutions like Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Fidelity, etc. have been visiting the campus.
E-commerce sector companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Cloudtail, Optum have also recruited many students in various positions.

Placement Percentage (overall)
There is a lot more competition for placements at IIM Indore and securing a job is very tough there.
If you prefer to study in a competitive environment, it will be better to join NITIE as all the major companies visit the campus and offer higher packages. It might not have the IIM tag but it is definitely a better institution than IIM Indore.Read more

Ques. How similar/different are IIM Indore and Spjimr?
● Top Answer By Anushree Talapatra on 26 Mar 21
Ans.The main thing about studying for an MBA is that “MBA provides a brand in all”; however, IIM Indore and SBIM Pune are quite similar in this aspect.
These days, people no longer look for only the tag of IIM because, in recent days, numerous IIMs are ultimately diluting this institute's brand. If a student only considers the brand, then IIM A, B, and C would score the topmost rank than the maximum B-schools like FMS, XLRI. After that, it is more or less similar in the case of IIM I, L, K, SPJIMR, and JBIMS.
If you compare SPJIMR and IIM Indore, then it can be mentioned that both of these institutes and their own strengths and both them have successfully made some industry relations in the past few years.
It can be mentioned that SPJIMR is very strong in the marketing stream, which is similar enough to the top-ranked IIMs.
Besides, FMCG is another factor and the firms, namely PNG, HUL, Colpal, make recruitment from SPJIMR mostly. Besides, ITC mostly recruits from IIM I. Moreover, IIM Indore has some advantages in investment banking because most banking firms like DB and Goldman recruit students here more than SPJIMR. Thus, it is important to choose institutes and carefully plan for your future.
One of IIM Indore's major disadvantages is its giant size of the batch, approximately 450+ students in each of its batch. However, it is comparatively low in SPJIMR that is around 230 students. So, it makes a huge competition at the time of placement, but it is useful enough in developing a good network of alumni. In short, both of these institutes are somewhat similar, but the student has to choose between these two, then the recommendation is always for SPJIMR.Read more
Ques. Which is the better, college SIBM Pune or IIM Indore?
● Top Answer By Prashant Jaiswal on 26 Mar 21
Ans.IIM Indore is much better than SIBM Pune. In the following, some facts regarding this are pointed.
The following table highlights an overview of the placement facts of these two institutes:
Fees - Studying MBA in IIM Indore will cost up to 13 Lakhs, and it is almost similar to the case of SBIM Pune that is 14.50 Lakhs.
Location - The location of SBIM Pune is an advantage as Pune has more opportunities than Indore.
Batch Size - The batch size of SBIM Pune is comparatively small than IIM Indore.
The thing to be considered that studying in IIM Indore provides a tag if IIM.
Besides, SBIM Pune bids MBA study in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In the case of IIM Indore, it has 5 years Integrated Program in Management (IPM). IIM Indore also offers several other courses like Post Graduate Programs in Management (PGP), Post Graduate Programme at Mumbai (PGP-Mumbai), and Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP).Read more
