They are all qualified and experienced and all from distinguished universities and all of them have been meritorious students. They come with their materials well prepared and the classes mostly use audio-visual aids to make the classes more interactive.
iit bombay has many of the researchers working in their fields who also teach us. their are many good teachers but their are also some teachers who are not fully able to make the students correctly. i dont doubt their ability but still did not match the standards of teaching.apart from that i feel we also lack some of the sport teaching faculties for newbies in the game, who want to learn the game.
They are very good in terms of technical knowledge, research and intrapersonal activities also.E-class rooms and advanced learning methods are being utilized by many of the faculty members. They always try to update their knowledge as per the coming advancements in the field of science and technology
Most of the faculty members have UG degree from some or the other Top IIT and masters & Phd from reputed institutes abroad. They are well qualified for the position and often conduct research activities in their respective labs. Faculty also dedicates meeting hours for courses to discuss doubts and conduct tutorials to make understanding better.
IIT Bombay has best in class highly qualified faculty members with elite research background. But at the end of the day teaching is more of art than methodology. So my personal opinion is good to okay faculty member ratio remains same as normal as university affiliated colleges in India. Most of the faculty members are research oriented rather than a good teacher.
Faculty are all with at Ph.D.s, a lot from renowned colleges of India and abroad. Most faculty are friendly and supportive. Each faculty has teaching as well as research load. Most focus on research more, but also do justice to teaching. Most faculty have industry contacts but generally avoid connecting student job candidates to professional community. But there is a good student placement cell to address this issue.
The faculties are very highly qualified. Most of them have bachelor degree from IITs. Then they have he Phd degree pursued from foreign universities. Post doc is also compulsory for all the faculties which is one year course after the completion of Phd degree.
All faculties of IITB have the academic profile of international standards. Most of them are graduated from IIT and pursued higher studies in some premier institute of the world. They have done very impactful research during their PhD studies under some well-known researcher. Faculties in IITB also have experience of Post Doctoral studies or some Industry.
All the faculty are very qualified and most of them are highly interested in teaching. I can not get faculty better than this, I feel they have perfect knowledge and very cooperative to students.
Faculties are very talented and efficient in all subjects. The faculties took the some of the lectures and conducted tutorial classes in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, probability, and regression analysis at UG and PG levels. These courses are sole for the understanding of the basic sciences. Faculties always paid more attention to the physical significance and applications of the concepts.
