There is placement team who brings companies and provide luxurious packages to the students. PhDs for engineering courses get pretty lucrative packages in 8 digits. In my course, however, after ph.D. one is on his or her own because we mostly look for government jobs. It is not very difficult though because you will have a degree from an IIT.

our college is the best to provide internship, students from our college and from other colleges take part in project under prof. i dont have idea of the stipend provided but it should not matter much as we get to learn very much under these interns. also many students get interns in many startups and multinational companies with huge stipends
