Jai Narayan Vyas University (JNVU) is a public state university located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and was established in the year 1962. The University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with ‘Grade B’ by NAAC. JNVU has 77 affiliated colleges. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programs in various streams like Engineering, Law, Commerce and Management Studies. Admission for all UG and PG courses is based on academic merit.

Candidates who wish to apply in the university can either apply through offline or online mode.
Eligibility: Intermediate graduate with at least 60% marks for All India Quota and 45% for Rajasthan state candidates.
Selection Criteria: Merit scored in 10+ 2 which will be followed by counseling. For B.E. and B.Arch, candidates will be granted admission through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process)
Eligibility: Graduation in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Selection Criteria: The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of their graduation marks. For MBA, CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA scores are valid. The candidate seeking admission in LL.M must have at least 40% marks in the entrance exam conducted by JNVU.
Eligibility: PG Degree with 1st or 2nd division in the relevant subject
Selection Criteria: Admission is done on the basis of MPET and 50% in the concerned subject conducted by the University.
Reservation is done on the basis of the regulations of the State Government. It includes preference given to Rajasthan candidates, and reservation for women up to 36%. 5% of marks in aggregate will be relaxed for the reserved categories as well. Below mentioned are the other reserved categories:
