Ans. This is an unfair comparison for various reasons and one of those is legacy. Manipal University is over 67 years old and has produced many great students. Once a candidate takes a look at the alumnus of this university he or she will understand how great this university really is and why opting for it is a good choice.  Categories Manipal University Ahmedabad University Course Fee 3.58 lakh 6.92 lakh Placement Percentage 90% 85% Highest CTC 42 LPA 15.5 LPA Average CTC 8-12 LPA 4.65 LPA Coming to Ahmedabad University, it was established just 11 years ago and although it’s growing steadily, there is a lot that it needs to achieve in terms of what it offers. However, Ahmedabad University is comparatively new and has a better infrastructure, great faculty, and a brilliant academic goal.  The fact that it’s a newly established university which is looking to make a name for itself and in the process helping students to have the best facilities is one of the major factors for you to consider it.Read more

I have chosen CCE in MUJ because one of my friends who is currently studying at MUJ told me that MUJ has good faculty for this branch. Also, CCE has the same course as CSE/IT up to the fourth semester, after CSE students will focus on hardware, IT will focus on software and we will focus on communication. Almost 80% of the faculty of our branch is a Ph.D. holder and the remaining are pursuing so you will gain more knowledge. They teach us through various processes like through video lectures, etc. One thing is there that you will get many Assignments, Quizzes, tests that are you will be engaged the whole year. I chose to study IT at Manipal University Jaipur. I was getting Dual degree courses at BITS, CSE at VIT Vellore and SRM Chennai, EEE at MIT Manipal, IT at Manipal Jaipur and few lower colleges through the COMEDK exam. I chose IT at Manipal University Jaipur because I always wanted to pursue CS/IT as I had a passion for coding. I also chose Manipal over VIT/SRM because it has better reputation and placements. Also, the batch size at Manipal Jaipur for CSE is only 200 as compared to VIT wherein they have around 1800-2000 seats in the Vellore campus alone. The average package of Manipal Jaipur is 6.2 lpa which is higher than VIT Vellore and SRM Chennai too. The college infrastructure is amazing...

    Placement -

Placements for branches like CSE/IT are really good and lots of good companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Paypal, Directi come to the college every year. The average package for B.Tech stands at 6.2 lpa and for CS/IT branches its higher. To give an honest opinion, I would advice one to opt for Manipal University Jaipur only if he/she is getting any of the computer related branches (CS/IT/CCE). For other branches it is not worth the money that you spend in. Alumni network is not that good as it is a relatively new college but its growing. We have Atal Incubation Centre and the college encourages students to have their own startup. One of the most popular startup from our college is Piltover Tech...

Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Accenture, Capgemini, GE, Daikin, Tata etc. are some the regular companies that visit our campus for placements every year, and mass-recruiters like capgemini recruits 300+ students every year, with decent salary package, along with a full time job contract. Companies also recruite students through PRE PLACEMNENT OFFER (PPO), as many of these companies also take good number of interns from campus. Hence, whether its job or internship, if you are good enough, you'll get it.
