Annamalai University is one of Asia's largest public residential universities located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1929 and spread across 1,500 acres of land. Annamalai University Courses & Admission
Annamalai University offers various UG, PG and Research courses under various departments such as Department of Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering & Technology, Arts, Education, Agriculture, Education, Fine Arts, Science, Indian Languages and Marine Sciences. Annamalai University Courses are run under different departments.
Students seeking admission to the university courses can register themselves through the official website by submitting completed applications along with the required fee and necessary enclosures.
To be eligible for admission to undergraduate courses, applicants should have passed class 12 in relevant stream from a recognized board. For postgraduate courses, students must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
Annamalai University Admission is done on the basis of qualifying degree merit or entrance exam scores. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in last qualifying exams are considered for admission process.
Annamalai University Exams
Students can register for the end semester examination through the student’s portal available at the official university website by filling the form and submitting the required fee through offline/ online payment modes. Annamalai University exam timetable can also be accessed by the students through the portal for their respective course and semester.
Upon submitting the required fee and proper verification, students can download their respective hall tickets from the portal by submitting their roll number. Scholarship and other relevant forms are also available for download from the given portal.
Annamalai University Results
The university follows odd and even semester pattern for all its courses with final examinations being conducted in the month of December and June respectively. Annamalai University semester results for all streams are declared on the university website within a month from the end semester examinations.
Annamalai University Results are declared on the student’s portal available on the official website of the university. Students can check their marks and scorecard upon entering their Roll Number/ Register Number by following the given steps:
- Visit the official website of Annamalai University
- Now, click on “examination results” link under the ‘Academics’ tab
- Then, a candidate should click on the respective course link for which he/she wants to check their result
- In the next step, the candidate should enter his/her register number in the given box and click on submit button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen. Candidate can download the result and take a printout of it for future reference.

Annamalai University DDE
Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education provides more than 500 courses. It offers education to those people who are unable to attend the campus but who desire to study. AU DDE offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology, Retail Management, Twinning, Health Science, a Commonwealth Youth Program, Yoga, Music, Fire and Safety, Pharmaceutical, Taxation etc.

Annamalai University DDE Admissions
Candidates willing to study through Annamalai University Distance Education Program can get admission through the following two modes:
Annamalai University provides Spot admission facility only to those candidates living near any of the designated university Study Centers. Selection of all the programs will be made through the Study Center. For acquiring seat through Spot admission, candidates must submit the required documents along with the application form in person to any study center or contact the Annamalai University DDE office.
Admission through Post
Other candidates seeking DDE Admission can send duly filled-in applications to “The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar – 608 002” along with attested Xerox copies of required documents.
Annamalai University DDE Results
Annamalai University Distance Education Results are announced on the official website of AU DDE. Students can check their results by entering their Roll Number /Register Number in the box present under the “Examinations” tab and clicking “Get Marks”.
