Agriculture course is well structured covering a variety of subjects with classes on Practical know how. At times, this tends to become a burden too. Faculties are rich knowledged. The interest for further studies is from how they deal with students. Field classes will be lively. The important drawback in my view is the lesser interaction of students with farmers (only a part of a semester) depriving of experience learning
Very good syllabus, very good faculties. College infrastructure also very good. administration setup, function organization also good. Club activities is there. One club namely Social service league founded by alumni of Agriculture Students (1953) to educate labour's children.
The course is well updated with current info. For an instance, we had a course on nanotech which deals with the application of nanotech on Agriculture which is an advanced technology. We also had a course on remote sensing which summarises the application of satellite data on agriculture.
It's good.no change was needed.except reducing the class hours.some courses are removed from the academics syllabus that courses also neede for us.eg.weed science. We dont want clasa in saturday.no need of theory class inthe evening upto 5.30
Everything is good if you are a book wormRegional fanatics, political nonsense and no student union to even hear you cryPractical application is also available but it's only for learning When it comes to marks and grades you can only excel of you have the ability to write nonsense and fill the pages in the answer book only then you can Precise answers are never appreciated and sometimes even underappreciated
All are well and good and the teachers always welcome the students for the clarification of doubts. The teachers aspire the students to make their life a better one. The seminars and inspirational lectures are always conducted in regular intervals
Our Syllabus is updated. We are provided with enough industrial exposure which provide us with additional knowledge. Most of the faculties in all the departments are good. They share their experiences also which make the course more interesting.
The schedule is hectic and demands physical work. The library is too good with a vast variety of books. We have a very good exposure to diverse crops as a wide variety of them can be grown due to the condusive climate of coimbatore. We have a lot of field trips, short tours and farmer's visit.
Yes it is quite practical oriented course. We have many field visits and to rural areas to know about the lands and people living there. The faculties are well experienced and have a great talent. It is a good institution.
My course syllabus was fine but the credit hours for the course is too much for the students. And we visited the outdoor classes which are included in the practical sessions. The Bsc Agriculture was good
