Placement Experience :

Final year students are eligible for placements. So far I came to know HIPPO VIDEO is the company which is visited and no offers made. The highest package so far is 50 lakh and the average is 6.5 lakh. 95% of people will get placement. I got a placement offer and its easy to crack the interview. Must be strong in basics.

Remarks :

I heard a lot about this college according to placements. It provides the best when it comes to placement. It holds the 1st position in infrastructure. Culture is very good. The college provides high security for girls. Work diversity is great. There are clubs and chapters and other activities to keep our growth. Only one thing I don't like is classrooms and syllabus is old. They have to teach the latest technologies

Remarks :

Compare with North Indian and south Indian students are very few. Need to maintain 50% Equality. College is located in Indian but foreign are available we don't like they are treating badly.

Remarks :

Remarks :

There is a mixed of positive facts and negative facts. This college provides a lot of opportunities to grab but the issue is of time. Here you will not get the enough time. If it comes to infrastructure it is good from outside but the classes specially in a building are very suffocated because of lack of air.

"Honest review of vit"

Admission :

I have given the entrance exam for Pg. Where I got some rank. They invited for the counseling process. But due to personal problems, I didn't attend counseling. Then on seat availability they called me telling me, there is a seat on the Chennai campus, if I m interested then can take admission. Then I came to get admission.

Remarks :

From my point of academics were good but hostel rules were very dominating. There was 7 pm time for entering girls in hostel and 6 pm time for entering the campus for both boys and girls. U cannot go outside a hostel in shorts or career. Girls outing was banned on Saturday and Sunday.

"MY COLLEGE LIFE - VIT"

Admission :

I have applied For under graduation in VIT. I got admission in merits. For MCA I have written the VITMEE entrance exam and score a good merit rank and got admission without any issues. Entrance exam conducted by VIT in so many places Pan India and also some foreign countries

Remarks :

Positive things like a very good college campus with world-class infrastructure and educational systems are fully flexible credit system it means students are fully flexible to select courses and faculty members with flexible timing and library facilities are very good. Negative things mean they give importance to North Indian students instead of Local students. Local students is struggling for admissions when compared to other states' students.

"VIT:a place to learn,chance to groe"

Admission :

I got admission by merit in their entrance exam. they conduct their own entrance exam. we should get a good score to get shortlisted. the exam is pretty simple. not so hard not so tough. but you have to prepare for the exam

Remarks :

Negative is so less like for outings they are very strict. basically, they are worried about students' safety. hence they are strict. but like in vit is very luxury and exciting. you literally enjoy each moment.

Ans. One of my friends is in BIT Sindri, so I might be able to answer your question here. Both are very popular institutes, but I will give some information about BIT Sindri’s pros and cons. Analyzing that you can then make an informed decision. Why BIT Sindri would be a better choice: Not at all expensive, fees are almost negligible here. BIT Sindri has been a brand in itself since 1949. Has a rich alumni base with great success history. Want to crack GATE, CAT, IES, UPSC, JPSC, GRE, TOEFL, SSC, BANK/PO in your current graduation year. You will have ample time to study for those exams while you are in college. Attending college is not compulsory. Vast campus with beautiful infrastructure(450 acres). Course Fee VIT Vellore BIT Sindri Course Fee 4.89-7.83 lakh 1.17 lakh Placement Percentage 95% 70-80% Highest CTC 30 LPA 12-18 LPA Average CTC 15 LPA 8-10 LPA Recruiting Companies Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Wipro, etc. Capgemini, ITC, Vedanta, Jaro Education, etc. Why you should not choose BIT Sindri : Very less number of classes (Even HOD's and professors of college don't recommend taking jobs here because of fewer classes) Labs are just for writing assignments and journals. Infrastructure is good from many private colleges, but not sufficient professors and lab technicians to help you, and those who are present are not enthusiastic enough to make you learn something new. Even there is no Wi-Fi. You will have to go to labs to avail that. You can't even learn by yourself from courses or NPTEL or any other online sites. That's all about BIT Sindri. Ans. As per the NIRF 2020 ranking, VIT Vellore ranks in the 15th position while NIT Jalandhar ranks in the 52nd position among all the engineering colleges of India. Not only NIT Jalandhar, but almost all NITs also rank below VIT Vellore. VIT has a rich study culture with world-class facilities. If you will compare the campus and infrastructure, VIT leaves every other NIT behind. The faculties of VIT are very cooperative and will guide you well to achieve your goal. If you are willing to choose CS/IT branch, VIT Vellore will open the doors to multiple opportunities. You will get way better placements in top MNCs that NIT Jalandhar cannot provide. From curriculum to campus life, from friendly seniors to absolutely outstanding placements, VIT excels in all. One thing is very clear that you will not regret being a part of such an institute and definitely graduate with bundles of epic college memories. Ans. ITM University is one of the emerging top private universities in the country. You might think that this is answer biased but personally I have no associations with any of these universities. ITM University has grown tremendously in the last 6 years. The guests that the University invites in the convocation ceremony are no ordinary people but an alumnus at the university and you will be surprised to see the names. Here are a few names of the alumni: Mrs. Aruna Roy (ex IAS Officer, recipient of Magsaysay Award) Rajat Sharma Yuvraj Singh Shri Ashok Vajpeyi Padmashri Govind Nihalani Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar Now, let us look at the comparison between the VIT University, Vellore CSE, and ITM University, Gwalior CSE. VIT is much older than ITM and thus, VIT outshines in case of reputation and facilities. The intake for CSE at VIT Vellore is 1200 but at ITM Gwalior, it is just 120. The infrastructure at VIT Vellore is much better than the infrastructure at ITM Gwalior. In fact, the infrastructure of VIT Vellore is one of the finest among all the colleges in the country. The fee at VIT Vellore is approximately 15 lakhs (hostel fee included) if you get selected through VITEEE (the entrance exam conducted by VIT). But if you go through the management quota or category system, you will have to pay a hefty amount of Rs. 30 lakhs, approximately. The fee at ITM Gwalior is Rs. 9 lakhs for 4 years (hostel fee included). Faculties are good at both institutions. There are faculties for M.tech and Ph.D. in both institutions. Ans. IIIT Allahabad is way ahead of VIT when it comes to CSE. It has no separate branch namely CSE as such and is called IT instead. However, the course structure is the same as that of the CSE. IT and ECE are the two branches that are given the main priority at IIIT-A so if you are thinking of getting exposure to other branches, you must reconsider opting IIIT Allahabad. Ques. How is IIITM Gwalior IT compared to VIT Vellore CSE?

Ans. While both of them are premier institutes and are known for delivering quality education to their students, there are some facts you must check before deciding which one is better for you. IIITM Gwalior is the first IIIT of India and is an autonomous institute that is fully funded by MHRD. Whereas, VIT Vellore is a private institute that was initially started in Vellore and now it has its campus in Chennai and Amaravati too. Now being an IIIT, IIITM is completely focused on the IT /CS and related fields. On the other hand, VIT has other branches too so you can’t say it is totally focused on CS/IT field. In IIITM you will find fewer students per branch (around 120) while in VIT you will see huge crowds (about 720 students only in the CS branch). To get into IIITM you will have to get a rank in JEE Mains (JOSAA) while for VIT, you must appear in a separate entrance exam named VITEEE. My friend took admission in VIT through management quota and this is quite a common scenario there. This can be a huge downside as you will be competing with the ones who got admission by paying money. On the other hand, IIITM being a Central Govt. institute you won’t face such issues there and you’ll be competing with some of the best talents in the country. Now if you have financial constraints, VIT being a private institute might get very costly for you. Whereas, IIITM being a govt.
