    Since I don't know much about the placements, here's a review of a passed out senior. The placements of COT are decent Right now. I won't say very good but yes Good enough to give every student the chance to get selected in Campus placements. If you are good in studies and have the zeal to do it you will make it. There is no branch in Pantnagar for which Companies don't come for Placement. Agricultural Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students Get the highest Packages every Year in Placements. Companies like Hero, John Deere, Mahindra&Mahindra, Escorts etc come for their Placements. Students of Computer Engineering, IT and ECE mostly end up in TCS. A few companies come for EE or...

    "Is COT Pantnagar worth it"

    So GBPUAT Pantnagar is 60 years old (still young) institute. Straight away coming to the Good aspects of the College include it's an infrastructure which is better than many other government Colleges plus the faculty here is good. They care for their students in some or other way. I am from the electrical department and the professors are wonderful. Hostels are old but still well maintained. Transport facility is also good like u will find a tuk-tuk ( e - riksha ) everywhere. Mess food is average. Since the university is spread in a vast area, you can roam and explore places every day. Bad aspects include some restrictions like you are not allowed to go outside the university without permi...
