Hi Nikhilesh, M.Tech admissions totally depends on score in GATE or UKSEE exam. There is seat reservation for those living in Uttrakhand. Also, minimum required aggregate in UG is 55% , so you are eligible to apply. To know more visit Uttaranchal University.

Course Curriculum -

I had an interest in Physics therefore I decided to pursue this course as I wish to be a teacher. The professors in this University and for my course were mostly PhD and NET qualified. The course curriculum was vast and in every semester the curriculum was divided into three segments- theory, practical and project. The student to faculty ratio was 18:1. The teachers were easily approachable and they mostly focused on practical aspects. The terms exams were in every 4 to 5 months and their difficulty level was moderate.

Course curriculum is just like any other engineering college but in addition to that we have soft skills trainers who help us for our placements. Industrial exposure is not very great over here, just regular workshops are organized. Faculties over here are well qualified but not very updated with latest scenario, but we do have some great faculty members like Himanshu sir, Musheer sir for data structures, Arti mam.

I chose B.COM(HONS) because I want to be the manager of the bank or of some big company. The faculty is very supportive. They teach us in very professional way. They helps us through out whenever we need them. The students in our class were 57.The faculty members are very well qualified. Most of them have done PhD. The teaching method of our college is not so advanced. Yes we do have projectors in all the classes. The teachers use those projectors to teach, and they also take the presentation from the students. And the faculty at UIM( Uttaranchal Institute of Management) is the best to guide science students in the commerce field as they teach u from the very basic to advanced. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. There are enough management faculties for each specification, course, and year.
