National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK), established in 2009 is one of the 31 NITs in the country. The institute is affiliated UGC, MHRD and AICTE.
NIT Uttarakhand offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines of Engineering and Sciences.
- The admission to B.Tech is done through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), an online centralized admission procedure.

NIT Uttarakhand B.Tech Admission 2019
NIT UK offers B.Tech degree in five different specializations. Candidates applying for the B.Tech courses should have a minimum 75% marks in HSC or be in the top 20 percentile in 10+2 examination conducted by the respective boards.
Selection to the B.Tech program is done on basis of the performance of the candidates in JEE Main. The final admission is done on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by JoSAA considering score in JEE Main and normalized score of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying exam (60% & 40% preference, respectively).

NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech Admission 2019
NIT UK offers M.Tech degree in five different streams with various specializations. The minimum eligibility is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Selection is based on the valid score of GATE. Admission to M.Tech is conducted centrally through Centralized Counselling for M.Tech/ M.Arch./M.Plan. (CCMT) as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

NIT Uttarakhand offers Ph.D. in 9 specializations in the research area of Engineering, Sciences, Humanities. Candidates aspiring to pursue Ph.D. at NIT UK need a Master’s degree with a first-class division.
Candidates will be shortlisted for admission on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam along with valid scores in GATE/NET/SET followed by a written test and Personal interview.

NIT Uttarakhand Application Process 2019
Candidates applying for B.Tech admissions need to apply through the Centralized admission process conducted by JoSAA. There is no initial registration fee for choice filling.
Candidates applying for M.Tech admissions need to apply online through CCMT on its official website based on scores obtained in GATE. The registration fee is INR 2200 for OC/OB and INR 1700 for SC/ST/PwD, payable only through Net Banking/Credit Card / Debit Card or e-Challan at any branch of SBI.
Candidates applying for Ph.D. admissions need to apply directly from NIT’s official website.
