NIT Puducherry Courses
It is a 4-year undergraduate program, based on providing in-depth information about the different aspects of I.T industry namely networking, programming, and analysis of computer system.
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2(PCM/PCB) or equivalent.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates is based on the score obtained in JEE MAIN examination.
Master’s in Technology is a 2-year postgraduate program, designed to create future technology specialists. The course helps the students in imbibing with analytical and practical skills.
Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech degree from any government recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
Selection Process: After meeting the basic eligibility students are asked to appear for an entrance exam followed by personal interview, as conducted by the university.
It is a 3-year doctoral level program, focused towards research and interdisciplinary study of the respective discipline. Structure of the program includes training programs, mock tests, group discussions, and publishing of research papers.
Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in engineering/technology discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates having valid GATE score can also apply under this program.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be screened through entrance examination followed by personal interview, as conducted by the university.

NIT Puducherry Scholarships
University provides financial aid to the students under reserved categories, based on merit. To apply for scholarships students are required to clear the examination, conducted by the university.
Students enrolled under, graduate degree programs will be provided with INR 1000 per month for the first three years of college. The scholarships are paid for 10 months of every year.
NIT Puducherry Placement
NIT has signed MOU’s with a number of notable organizations, offering training and placement opportunities to the students. The average package offered to the students is INR 4-5 lakhs, with INR 15 lakhs being the highest package offered to any student, by the university.
