It has one of the best faculty members in India. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. from India or abroad.7 faculties from here are listed in the standard universities top 2% scientists in th the world. like Tapan sir from mathematics.
Students intake is about 100 per branch approx. .And, teachers here are very well qualified, and they do a lot if research abroad, and the exams are taken in time only. And, difficulty level is quite moderate.
College takes a huge amount of money from general students and doesn't even have a placement system for our department. It's very hard course. You can barely survive this course.
I choose these course because it is a well known course to get established in the society and not only that I can play with art and forms in this field.
Course syllabus is still not as high as it should be. The industries are coming in the college for placements. And faculties and administration are little bit liberal to the students in compare to the other colleges.
The B.Arch is a 5-year course and the course curriculum is expansive yet very enriching. The faculty student ratio is very impressive, it is 2:1 for students to teachers in every batch. The faculty members are all highly qualified, with double PhDs and extensive on-field experience as well. The teaching methods encompass not just classroom learning but also occasional case studies, site visits, educational tours throughout India and multiple workshops every month. There are regular seminars and fora, about every 2-3 weeks for students to learn from professionals in the field and also reputed academicians. The term exams are held semester-wise (every 6 months) but the 'sessionals' are evaluated on a daily basis in the Design Studios. Although the examinations are not very easy to pass if you do not study at all, they can be cleared with flying colors with the right effort.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of IIEST, Shibpur was ranked 7th among other Mechanical Engineering departments in the country. The course syllabus here is the standard one which is taught everywhere. The institute has a good exposure to the industry as well. Have a decent opportunity for internships. The faculty is excellent. Highly educated and very experienced. Some notable facilities are Dr. Parta Pratim Dey(HOD), Dr. Bijan Kumar Mondal, Dr Shantanu Kumar Karmakar, Assistant Prof. Bidyut Pal.
The total fees is around 70000 per semester excluding mess fees and there are scholarships for economically weaker families. And also the fees for EBS is only Rs. 4500 which is quite affordable.
Aerospace Engineering has always fascinated me since my childhood. The faculty student ratio is around 1:4. And all the faculty members are highly qualified from reputed institutions from all over India. The exams are quite fine.
Here fees were less than other colleges for sc category. Good faculty student ratio is there, all faculty are PhD holder and they are experienced.there is two exam one is midterm and another one is final one.. if you study well you will easily pass
It is updated and internships opportunities are provided at various iits and nits. Syllabus is being updated every year with accordance to industry and companies.
The course follows a well-structured curriculum guided by the Council of Architecture's mandates. Students get to learn a variety of subjects right from their first year up to the fourth year. Each year is divided into two semesters, with different subjects or continuation of previous ones at times. The final two semesters do not have any theory classes. 9th Semester is reserved for professional training where students are to work in an architectural firm compulsorily for 6 months. The final 6 months of college life are dedicated to the Architectural Thesis Dissertation with no regular classes, just one-to-one interaction with their Thesis Supervisors, and occasional reviews. The faculty members are learned and well-experienced. All of them are well-versed in English, in case students coming from other states find it difficult to understand other languages. The teachers are enthusiastic about taking field classes, and educational tours.
