Indian Institute of information technology (IIIT) Vadodara is an Engineering college that was established as part of the IIITs by the government of Gujarat under the Public Private Partnership. The college is ranked as an Institution of National Importance by MHRD. There are currently 603 students studying in IIIT Vadodara with a teacher to student ratio of 1:9. 

The college offers B.tech in CSE and IT, M.Tech in CSE and Ph.D in Engineering and Science. There are a number of facilities that students can enjoy on the Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Vadodara campus:

  • Hostel: The rooms are semi furnished and each student is provided with a cot, a chair and a study table. There is a water coolers available in the hostels. Students have access to WiFi and TV (DTH). There are separate gymnasiums for boys and girls in the hostel. Students can play indoor games like table tennis, carrom and chess. Musical instruments including Drum, Congo, Electric Guitar, Flute, Synthesizers, Tabla, Violin and Harmonium are available for students in the hostel. Housekeeping service and 24x7 security is provided to students. There is also a medical emergency vehicle available on call. 
  • Library: The library at Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara is equipped with printed and digital copies of books and study material. In March 2016 Library subscribed to the online ACM Digital library database. The library also has access to World eBook Library and South Asia Archives.
