The college has a stellar placement record with an average package of 12.61 lacs for the final and close 70k average for the internship programs. IIM Amritsar has a record of 100% placement for each year. Companies such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, L&T, Xiaomi, Cipla, ICICI Lombard etc are some of our regular recruiters.

Remarks

The college has a great online presence about the activities that are conducted throughout the year. The placement statistics are really great when it comes to the 3rd Generation IIMs. The brand that visits the campus is really great. Before joining the campus I also researched about the faculty and the guest lecture conducted by the college. The list of faculty visiting the campus also intrigued my interest towards joining this college.

From the 4th semester, we become eligible for placements. There are many good companies that visited campus like Xiaomi, Accenture, Dell etc. We can't reveal the highest and lowest package as of now but it is decent enough I can assure for a student being an IIM student.

Remarks

Good- Growing at a faster rate, placecom is really active, supportive colleagues, college takes effort to improve the conditions, mess people are also good, food is average to above average. Bad- Temporary campus is the only concern but that will also be sorted soon. College is preferred as it is growing fast. Placecom is really active and the administration is completely supportive. Use pagalguy.

The placement cell of the college is really nice and various companies recruited like Deloitte, Amazon, Tata Power. From engineering services, recruited almost 100% of the batch. The highest salary package was noted to be INR 40 LPA.

Remarks

There are various good aspects of college. The admission process is very smooth. The form fill up in our year was in late January and after that, the interview times was in April. But due to Covid-19, the interview was conducted online mode.

There will be two placement processes in IIM Amritsar. First is summers which will start occurring as soon as first-year join college. After the summer internship after completing one-year final placement starts which will be continued till everyone gets placed.

Remarks

good - low fees, good ROI, Brand name bad- no permanent campus, average inhouse faculty Admission Process- On the basis of CAT, the date of college start is July and the end date is February. Why I preferred this college- Being an IIM it has comparatively low fees, good average placements, nice location, good culture.

Students are eligible for placement from year 2 onwards. We have over 100 offers and the placements are stable as well as secure. The average package is 13 LPA and the highest package was 48 LPA. Institute is giving 100 percent placement. I plan to join a marketing firm in the role of digital marketing or marketing analyst.

Remarks

IIM Amritsar because it catered to my need for Majors in Marketing as well as offering an MBA degree, rather than a PGP degree. IIM Amritsar wasn't in CAP whereas they shortlisted and picked from the pool. The direct interview process, via Zoom call, went smooth and the results are pretty quick and in time, as compared to others. Moreover, I found no negative on "Pagalguy.com"!! I chose it over others because it's the fastest-growing baby IIM with the stabilized package and increasing constantly. I would prefer the institute to others because the management actually cares about the students and took great depth to ensure regular online as well as offline classes. The institute has given incredible 100% placements, as well as the fees, was comparatively low. While I was consulting with my other MBA peers, they mentioned how it is located next to the airport, which makes it more convenient. As well as the city allocation of Amritsar, as the holy city, gives an edge in terms of recruiters coming for placement.

The companies visiting the college are Adobe, AnandRathi, Cipla, Landmark, ICICI Lombard, etc. My Plans of getting a degree is to get a place in one of the Big 4 auditing firms as I am majoring in finance

Remarks

One of the prime reasons for choosing IIM Amritsar over other colleges was that it conducts its own process rather than choosing Candidates through the CAP process. Secondly, it has a good ranking and one of the fastest-growing 3G IIM. Hence, I choose this college over others.

Remarks

The college was one of the good ranking colleges in India plus the placement records were great. Admission started somewhere around April 2019 and I received a call for admission in May 2019 which was my 3rd Call after CAP. Pagalworld also had good reviews about IIM Amritsar

Ans. My brother goes to IIM Bodhgaya, so I can give you some information about the same. Following are the current situations of IIM Bodhgaya. Faculty: The faculties at IIM Bodhgaya are extremely qualified. But faculties are unable to visit regularly and thus students are made to attend 4-5 lectures within 2 days. Which are taught in a week or two at IIM C. Some of the faculties have great teaching styles. Facility: The students are accommodated in the college hostel in single occupancy rooms. The college has 24 hours of power supply along with Wifi and LAN facilities. The college hostel has other facilities such as washing machines, geysers and water cooler. For entertainment purposes, there is a common area with TV, table tennis, carrom boards, chess boards, etc. Gym facilities are also available for students with equipment such as cross trainers, lifting equipment, treadmills, etc. Outdoor gaming facilities are also available such as Volleyball court, badminton court, Basketball court and football grounds. Course Curriculum: Examination patterns differ for all the courses. Each course comprises 100 marks which is distributed into quizzes, class participation, projects, mid-term examination and end-term examination. The mid-term examination covers partial syllabus while end-term covers full syllabus. The exam is based on the taught topics. Placements: The placement data is as follows. Ans. At IIM Amritsar the admission to an MBA is based on CAT score. However, other exams such as GATE, GRE, and CMAT are also accepted for some of the courses. IIM Amritsar Cut-Off: The CAT cutoff of MBA at IIM Amritsar for the year 2021 stood at 85%. As compared to previous, the cutoff has been dropped by 5%. The table below lists out the CAT 2020 cutoff for IIM Amritsar admissions for the year 2021. Category CAT cutoff General 85 NC-OBC/EWS 75 SC 55 ST 40 PWD 40 For IIM Amritsar MBA shortlisting and admissions, 2500 students were shortlisted for admissions in 320 seats. WAT has been removed in the shortlisting process while PI is still mandatory. Admission in IIM Amritsar is done on the basis of CAT exam followed by WAT and Personal Interview. The 60-acre permanent campus of IIM Amritsar is located at a distance of 14 kms from the airport and 5 kms from the railway station making commutation of students easier. The campus is facilitated with air conditioned and spacious classrooms as well as seminar halls equipped with modern day gadgets like LCD, Projectors, Speakers and 24*7 Internet facility to ensure a wonderful learning experience for the students. IIM Amritsar’s library is a reservoir of a large number of Magazines, CDs, Project Reports, Books, Case Studies and e-journals on various subjects in physical as well as electronic form.
