Remarks

I got the admission through JEE PRE exam. I got the seat through counseling process. IITRAM was inaugurated by Current PM NARENDRA MODI JI in 2013 but then he was CM of Gujarat. I had knew nothing about the college as it was very first batch of the college. Good points about the college 1. No Ragging campus: a year back few students were restricted because of ragging with junior. A new student should not worry about ragging. 2. Faculties: Senior Professors were very experienced as they had the experience of teaching in well known universities. Assistant professor were also recruited from IITs. 3.Mess: Mess facilities is good, best in the business around ahmedabad. 4. Healthy Environment in hostel as well as College campus. 5. Gym: No charges for gym. Free for all. Bad aspects 1. Hostel is not in college campus. First hostel 1-2 km away from college and other is 9-10km away. It took almost half an hour while reaching to the college. 2. No Playground 3. Less extra curricular activities.

I scored 135 marks in JEE main and 135 marks in JEE advance as well. I opted for this college as this was the good college and located in a very nice State Gujarat and it was a government college.

I got admission in this college through JEE main counseling. The procedure was very simple, the steps were first I cleared JEE main and I registered myself in Jossa and through that, I got IITram and then reporting at that institute was needed which I did.

Admission

Through jee main counselling. Firstly I qualified jee main and registered for jossa.there I was asked to fill the choices of my own and there I kept this college as one of my choices. In the seventh round I got the seat and I was asked to report in that college within 2 days. After reaching their I registered myself and finally I was granted the admission.

Ans. SRM has been accredited 'A++' Grade by NAAC and is ranked 41st in India by NIRF whereas PDPU got an 'A' grade by NAAC and is graded Autonomy by UGC. It's ranked 177th in India by NIRF. On the other hand, IITRAM is graded Autonomy by UGC. It's ranked 201st in India by NIRF. Manipal has been accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and is ranked 45th in India by NIRF. Admissions: SRM The college accepts students based on the JEE Main and SRMJEEE scores with 50% in 10+2. The total fee for B.Tech programs is 10.1 lakhs. PDPU The college accepts students based on the JEE Main score with 45% in 10+2. The total fee for B.Tech programs is 9.73 lakhs. Ans. IITRAM, Nirma, and PDPU are all good Universities and among the best in the state. PDPU University is a member of AIU and is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade & CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.0. It’s NIRF ranking is 55th and 1st in Gujarat. Nirma University has been ranked 136 F while IITRAM is ranked above 200 in NIRF 2020 Rankings. In particular, we have to look at placement statistics in B. Tech Civil and the admission process. Placements: College Companies Visited Average Salary Highest Salary Placement Percentage PDPU 20 4-5LPA 8 LPA 83% Nirma 35 4 LPA 30 LPA 90% IITRAM 25 3-4 LPA 7 LPA 85% Admissions: Nirma University For admission in B.Tech, one must secure 45% marks in Intermediate Examination with a valid score in GUJCET and JEE Main. Last year cut off for GUJCET was Round 2 | rank 524. For JEE Main it changes per year and according to university. A total of 135 seats are available in Civil. The course fee is almost 7.24 lakhs. Ans. IITRAM has been ranked at number 201 in all universities of India and has been ranked 2nd best in Ahmedabad for its Engineering courses by NIRF rankings. IIITDM Jabalpur has been ranked at 69th number by NIRF. It has been repeatedly ranked as one of the best engineering colleges by many magazines and ranking frameworks. IITRAM is an autonomous university, it provides courses in Engineering only with highly experienced faculty members and it is known to provide excellent placements since the year it was established. IIITDM Jabalpur has been approved by UGC and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Course Structure: IITRAM- It provides an autonomous course structure. The mechanical engineering department is relatively easy to get into. It offers numerous research opportunities and competitions for students to show their skills and interests. The institute also provides modern technological methods and equipment for students to be industry-ready. IIITDM- The institute also provides a specialized course structure that has been materialized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development itself. It provides exposure through numerous internships and many training opportunities for students throughout the year. They have excellent faculty as well.
