Fees are comparatively low. There are many scholarships for someone who needs them. Summer Internship programs are very good, 100% of the students got a SIP in this session. Many companies visit the campus for the final placement drive as well.

I think every penny is worth in studying in the IIM's apart from that the college helps the students financially but there is a criterion for that too. You should score a minimum CGPA of 8 in your first year to get some amount of scholarship. Apart from that the students from SC, ST gets to benefit in their fees. No special kind of fee concession is there for EWS students. But apart from that, the college offers such a good placement that even after paying such a huge fee, you can easily pay your loan in a year or two if you had to take it from some banks. Apart from that, the college offers various kind of facilities so that every money is worth paying for the IIM. The fee at IIM-J is low as compared to the other IIM's apart from the ROI at IIM-J is also great as compared to the other colleges hence in terms of fee one can be assured that their money is getting invested at a safe place and they will get to learn something awesome with the amount that they will be paying.

Got shortlisted for this IIM. Appeared for CAT, scored 95, got AIR 1200. Was shortlisted for a couple of business schools but wanted to study at IIM. IIMs are the most reputed B Schools of India which is why I joined this the moment I got shortlisted.

The brand name of IIM Jammu was the biggest motivator for me to choose to attend this college. The location too is suitable along with the placement scenario. I discussed it with my coaching institute's mentor before finalizing it, also I searched various websites for the same. The admission process started in February and included steps like the Entrance exam, WAT, and PI. Then the final results were announced and I was informed about my shortlisting in the month of June.

Even after being a baby IIM, the institute has performed well in various aspects. The good aspect to focus on their will to improve every day and add value to their offerings. The admission process was through CAP and SAP. My reason for preferring IIM Jammu over other institutes was the location and growing popularity. I went through various websites and forums to understand better about the institute like pagalguy, Facebook etc.
