Sharnbasva University offers 20 different courses across 4 streams and 7 specializations. The university provides various degrees, diplomas including PG diplomas, dual degree programs, integrated courses, certificates, and other awards of credit.

Under the UG domain, the university offers B.Tech (Civil engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering), B. Arch, BCA, BTTM, BBM courses. Similarly, under the PG domain, the university offers MA (English, Journalism and Mass Communication, Kannada, Music, Visual Arts), M.Com, M.Sc(Botany, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology), MCA, MBA courses.   • For admission to B.Arch courses also, an entrance exam, namely, NATA is conducted by the university on its own. The admission process requires 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks and a qualifying score in the entrance exam.
  • For admission to MBA courses, the qualification of the student required is graduation. Also, the admission to this course is based on the entrance exam KMAT conducted by the university itself.
  • The admission to other courses such as M.Tech, M.Sc, MA, MHTM, M.Com is conducted on the basis of their marks in the previous year's record.

Sharnbasva university is a private state university located in Vidya Nagar, Kalaburgi, Karnataka state of India. It was established in 2017 and has been recognized by the UGC. The university provides its students with various necessary facilities such as hostel facility for both boys and girls, well-maintained library, sports, cafeteria, wifi, gym, bank/ ATM, guidance cell, placement cell, etc. The university also provides transportation facilities for students. There are good condition buses with safety features as first aid kits and fire extinguishers which take care of students.

How to Apply?

Candidates are required to fill the application forms before the last date of submission. Also, candidates are required to participate in the entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The mode of examination is both online and offline. Further admission process will proceed on the basis of the scores obtained by the participants in the entrance exam.

Ques. Does University provide any scholarships to students?

Ans. There are no scholarships provided by the university to students. Though, there are some government/ central scholarships like Vidyashree (INR 18000/ year) that students can avail.

Ques. Which exam is more preferred for B.Arch admission, NATA, or JEE Main?

Ans. NATA and JEE Main Paper 2 are both for B.Arch admissions. It depends on the college to which the student is applying. If the college demands NATA scores for B.Arch admissions, the students will have to submit the NATA scores and Vice versa. Read More
