I had really appreciated the knowledge of agriculture from childhood because we had farms. So I decided to make a future in this field, therefore I decided to choose this course. There is a total of three division in this department and every division has about 60-65 students. The teaching methods of teachers are very unique and perfect for the understanding of students. The term exams are taken in every six months, and question papers are provided by Pune University. Students have to study hard to get in merit.
Course curriculum is quite interesting as it involved students completely in it. A full time practicals with social development is major motive. From first day of college we started practical work. Facilities are very nice and always helpful.
The college altogether has 8 semesters and every semester has a charge of around Rs 13000-14000. The charge is less for held competitors and young lady understudies. There are numerous grant projects, for example, Focal area for held up-and-comers. For individuals who got confirmation from ICAR there is grant given by the focal government.
The course is a designing course however it is for the most part focused on how building innovation influences horticulture in India. The course is isolated into 8 semesters (two semesters for each year). The subjects which are instructed are for the most part dependent on viable methodology. We perform genuine utilisation of the goals in the field. We additionally have numerous mechanical visits in our instructive visit to the ventures, for example, food handling industry, water system industry, bundling industry and so on.
The fees for one year is 37,500. The hostel and mess charges are to be paid separately. The total fees might vary after including all the fees. the fee structure is quite affordable if we see the facilities that are offered by the college council.
The course provides in depth knowledge about the areas such as food packaging & nutrition, transport and storage process, food processing etc.The duration of the course is four years which is divided into eight semesters. The subjects which are taught during our course are food chemistry, food engineering, Fish and poultry product technology, food laws & regulation and many more. An advanced and good familiarity with the food sector will help us to combat any difficulties in industries in future course of action.
Tuition fees for one year is 7500. Examination and registration charges of 4000 are to be paid separately. The total for one year is 19,100 after including all the other charges. The total for two years thus comes down to 31,300 which I feel is quite reasonable and affordable as compared to the other private college in same field.
Duration of the course is two years further divided into four semesters which again are six months long. Those students who are enrolled in the course are given lessons on seed technology, plant cultivation, bio chemistry, plant breeding etc. Subjects such as fertilizer technology, aromatic & medicinal plants, post harvest technology, plantation management, agricultural economics, floriculture, soil science engineering etc are taught over a span of two years.
The fee is about sixteen thousand per year (16,000) which is affordable. The fee structure is decided by a separate committee of the regulatory authority and is the same for most of the state colleges and universities.
The masters program is a full-time two year course divided into four semesters with a total of 50 credits. The course includes theory and practical classes including laboratory work and field research.
The fee is somewhere between fifteen thousand (15,000) to twenty thousand (20,000) rupees; depending on the course and year of admission. It is affordable and justifiable. The university does not have autonomy over the fee structure.
The course curriculum is divided into several major and minor papers, one seminar for postgraduate students, laboratory training and field work. The exam is a mix of theory and practical papers. At the end of the course you also need to submit a dissertation.
