I only applied for one college which was Boise state. It is one of the two colleges in the US that has this program and I knew I didn’t want to go to Arizona at all. I joined this program for my love of the creative works but also wanted to know how video games and the other technologies within video games were used, for example Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. I found out about this college from my mom who knew a family that attended this university.
I love the course curriculum, it teaches us all about the industry and the different aspects of it. We do game design, animation, but we also focus on game theory as well as philosophy and ethics when it’s appropriate in the curriculum. There are many different aspects we learn which provides us with the skills to go into many different work places if we would like.
I wanted to see what exactly it was about, I was interested in what kind of questions would be asked about our college we are attending. I also want to be able to show a good representation of different kinds of schools and since Boise is so great I'd love to share my experience.
So far many of the classes I have taken at Boise State have been really informational, I have learned a lot. Just like every other school though you must complete your gen-ed first which is mostly what I have done. Classes that do directly relate to my program are amazing and I enjoy learning about everything.
