6. Request recommendation letters from two teachers or professors and one school counsellor for UG.

Before you apply: Set the passport-issued name in the Common App to match the passport data page exactly. A mismatch delays I-20 issuance later.

Boston University Admission Decisions and Offer Timeline

BU releases decisions on fixed dates for undergraduate rounds and on rolling schedules for most graduate programmes. Undergraduate Early Decision I decisions release around December 15, Early Decision II around February 9, and Regular Decision by March 28. Admitted UG applicants confirm by May 1.
