Visa Process for International Students

  • In order to receive the I-20 Form, the following financial documents need to be submitted
  • Bank statement of the applicant or his sponsor showing the current balance of 4,000 USD per year for a child dependent and 6,000 UD per year for the spouse. The document must contain the name, date, signature, and seal of the bank official. 
  • A Financial sponsor letter is required if the bank statement is in the name of the applicant. It must be signed and should bear the exact amount of funds being sponsored. 

The documents should be mailed to International Students Services. 

  • The required SEVIS fee must be paid. 
  • For the F-1 visa to study in the USA, an interview must be scheduled with the US Embassy or Consulate and the following documents must be carried: 
  • I-20 Form
