I chose this university because it's close enough to home to not cost me a lot of money to drive there, but also far enough away that a weekend trip each week isn't possible. I needed to make a new name for myself! SEMO gave me that opportunity.
My classes all covered things that I was interested in. I was an art education major for two years, then I switched to parks and recreation administration with a minor in outdoor adventure education. Flexible grading scales, fun assignments, and the best teacher.
I opted for SEMO because the cost was reasonable with also giving good extracurricular opportunities and it was a good distance from my home so I could visit or go home if I needed to. I do think you get what you pay for.
I think the course curriculum was good for this particular program. I believe it properly prepared me for nursing school. I think that they could maybe add biology to the curriculum since it is a section on the HESI.
